Hi Karin: I say 'Happy Holidays' as I have no religion, but even a harmless phrase like that or 'Merry Christmas' seems to be offensive to some religious people. What I can't figure out is how did Santa Claus and shopping get mixed in to a Christian or Jewish holiday anyway?? All the best on your trip.
