Very unique sculpture collection. I hadn't thought about Bob Hope in terms of veteran's day which is really amazing since his wife recently passed away and we were all reminded of their contributions. Oh Duh Spiritwoman ^i^

This is wonderful! I would like to see it. I remember watching him on tv entertaining the troops overseas.

Great tribute to a great man. Bob was a genuine man who understood the sacrifices being made in the name of war and used his talents to make the path a little easier for those marching into battle. I salute you Sir. Alfie...

Thank you for this very informative blog. I did not know about this. Now, you have put an addition to my "bucket list" as I did not know about this sculptural artwork honoring Mr. Hope. He gave his "TIME" to our military all over the world as you stated for many years. It was and is my honor to have served. . The beginning of life, conception..

Superb! Thank you, Karin, for a very beautiful collage and extremely moving tribute to Bob Hope and his troop of touring stage, screen, and musical artists who entertained literally millions of troops, me included once. Your post brings back some very vivid memories for me. Thank you. "Life isn't fair, but it beats whatever comes in second." -- Gentleben
