*If I Could* *If I could* ?..I would climb the highest mountain,and stretch my arms up thru the heavens blue..just to steal each star,that shimmers soft and silent..wrap them in amber,and give them all to you ! ....*If I could* ? ..I would catch each crystal teardrop,that rains down from the roses morning dew..I would bind them all in promises,and childrens dreams..tie them in ribbon,and lay them at your feet...( but I am just a man who stumbles blindly,day to day,lost in my beliefs...and who am I.. to dream a dream..that nonone else can see ?) *If I could* ! ..I would live my life without you,to prove to you how sad a man can be...and each tear I dry would pool around your fingertips, so you could drift away into the deepest.....blue'est...sea..... *If I could* ??....I would.... !............................................................................ I swear
