snow in Minnesota..*finally* how I luv the changing of the seasons..the first snowfall makes me feel melancholy,and turns my feelings inward..the world dressed in white..so clean and pure..and a new season begining .. I prefer to see the good in it all....how quietly it all comes,...... how silently it changes the surroundings, like a artist with a brush....it sweeps over my feelings ,and my wish to share it with you. |

Hi Heartfelt: I hate everything about Winter...the freezing cold wind, walking on ice, driving on ice, scraping ice off the car windows, etc. etc. Brrrr.

Heartfelt, as a Canadian I've seen enough snow to last a lifetime, nothing beautiful about it when you have to live in it. It should only snow Christmas Day! Jan, come on over to Canada... we'll give you plenty of snow and then you'll be happy to return home. That's why we have so many 'snowbirds' here who fly south (to Florida etc) for 6 months!!!!

Keep tthe snow Dave....dont need it here. This city literally shuts down when it snows and it is very slippery. To think there is a green pelt still under the snow and when it melts we are back to the green again.
