Footprints of Life A walk in the beach Through the wet land eying oceans beyond reach leaving footprints left in sand Each step an imprint Of what has been touched As I walk or in a sprint some deep and some not so much A map of the past of where I have been Where memories last of who, where, and when But in the sunset At the end of my day When the final tide rolls in All my footprints wash away |

Recently my reflections have marvelled at similar while on early morning walks along the local beach with its fine, black sand and high cliffs which stretch for miles. I really enjoyed your poem.

Recently my reflections have marvelled at similar while on early morning walks along the local beach with its fine, black sand and high cliffs which stretch for miles. I really enjoyed your poem. The poem may have come across a little more negative than I wanted. It's more a warning about my life lived beyond horizons...when everything we are, or can be, is right under our feet. It only becomes too late when it is too late.

When nothing is going on make your own party. Party On Jiminy! People think love is a feeling. It's something you can find...and when you find it you can then give it. As I have moved through life and it's ups and downs and viewed people who don't have clue about love and never will.. I have discovered love is not a feeling or a thing.. It's simply a state of mind. Make your own Party!
