Which Hunt

The question I have is.... Which Hunt is the Witch Hunt..?

The one that tries to prove witches exist or the one that tries to find A witch.

In a world of conspiracies, religion, accusations, interpretations, and innuendos.. One can surely prove witches exist..

But in the world of evidence, laws, rights, and reasoning.....You can't find one.

I used to think Americans were some of the smartest people on the planet. That is until Trump came along and Republicans took on a non-viable strategy.
But I am starting to re-evaluate that now.

There are two sayings the Republicans took to heart..
You can't un-ring a bell
One bad apple spoils the Barrell

They discovered they can use accusation as a substitute for the truth........... and finding one "bad apple" means the barrel is already spoiled..

The American mindset is not steady.... it's a pendulum that swings.. pushing it further to one side only results in furthering its movement to the other side. Accusations that people want to be considered as a truth.. Will become, the need to make an accusation will automatically be suspected as being a lie.

Then there is story of Chicken Little.. who ran through the town saying the sky is falling.. people believed at first and ran.. Then they didn't believe... So Chicken Little destroyed his ability to tell the truth when the sky was falling.
It's not so much the truth for Republicans, that is at stake... it is their credibility.

Republican credibility was lost years ago when G W Bush and former Hallibutron CEO Dick Cheyney promoted the WMD myth to engage the USA in Iraq. And then, questioned the "patriotism" of Dems who would not support their position.

    Quoting  :

One of the greatest attribute's of America.. That basically differs from the entire world.... America is the country of equal opportunity.. This is proven with the fact that by percentage , America has the most dumb rich people. Other than that most countries are the same..

A problem for America that creates is people wish to emulate those they wish to become.. and since becoming smart to become rich is not a requirement. People think they don't need to do it. why bother?

A plethora of rich dumb people is not the result of equal opportunity, it is the result of privilege. Intelligence is not a factor for success, because people are advanced because of factors other than intelligence........Race, gender, social position, knowing people of power........Even educational standing is skewed by social factors.....

Americans don't have equal opportunity in health care, education, housing, social learning such as exposure to the arts.......Maybe you were being ironic when you say that the US has more "equal opportunity" than the entire world......

I'd say facetious not ironic. Equal opportunity... WTF is that?

I'm sure most people would like the opportunity that Trump has had.

To be able to gather up all the toys and things..He thinks makes other people happy.. So he can prove to himself he's not unhappy.
