Crazy is off the Reservation The ruling on Roe V Wade, is not as bad as it would appear...States rights versus Federal authority...can be balanced when putting the abortion issue in the hands the States. On August 2nd the State of Kansas will vote on a referendum that will allow the State legislature to ban abortion. However the referendum doesn't say that. The majority of Kansans will vote not understanding what they are voting for. This issue is State Rights as they relate to voting rights and what the voting public has a right to know. A representative government should represent..but that is not case in the States. Even this would be acceptable in a Republic...if the voting Public can correct any mistakes.. The minority opinion once protected by SCOTUS is no longer sufficient for them..And the True battleground for SCOTUS to handle involves voting rights and election integrity as States control elections.. Our Democracy is not being destroyed from the top down but from the bottom up. |

The truth.. we experienced significant problems with representation being more concerned about getting elected, by hook or crook, than doing their job. But phase two, is far more dangerous.....involving the impossibility to get UN-ELECTED. This is the nature of Democracy that sets it apart, from socialism, fascism and authoritarianism. and the goal of Trumpism And the problem of putting the power into the hands of representation..that by hook or crook won't give it up. This is an advantage, that even though most Republican understand Trump is crazy. they are willing to adopt. it doesn't matter one's agenda.. If you can't control elections..So they believe...

The current law in Kansas. Abortion can not be banned Abortion are restricted to the first 20 weeks of pregnancy Minors can not get an abortion without parental approval. WTF.. do people think the referendum means?
