Gym Nasty Powerful testimony today from women gymnasts.. You think what happened is confined to gymnast and their doctors. you think the FBI is at fault..? look around .. the fault is clear.. Men in power.. This typlifies the idea that men in power can weigh morality against their own power and accountability. It's obvious what happen.. The FBI....had some fuzzy idea about their jurisdiction in this.. they were way too willing to give up their authority to the authority of USA Gymnastic.. USA gymnastics had "other considerations" than the welfare of their athletes. All weighed against their immediate action..they wanted it to go away, but they wouldn't do anything about it immediately. Think of the Catholic Church and their pedophiles..same thing. Think of Donald trump.. the same thing. |

Steve Penny, CEO and President of the USA Gymnastics, is the culprit... no doubt about it.. he had the power .. he had the responsibility Steve Penny has been arrested and will go on trial..could receive up to two years in prison. I hope he has Donald Trump as a cell mate. Men in Power are are a moral hazard.. People who put men in power also see morals and character as a deterrent to what they wish to achieve. the buck doesn't just stop at the President.. in stops all the way along the line. As long as Men in power, get their power.. without character and a sense of morals. this will continue to happen. The real problem in this country is Nice guys finish last. That's not the nice guys problem.. That's our problem.

I know people don't understand it.. they choose NOT to.. the event of a pedophile and these gymnasts...Is terrible.. so terrible in fact in gets removed from any kind of normalcy.. People want that.. they want to believe that couldn't be them. so they can dismiss it..Pass judgment on it.. and move on. It's so much more about NOT being self reflective than self serving. I think almost everybody is goal oriented.....from the gymnasts themselves to the top of heap... Everybody is goal oriented.. but nobody tells you HOW you're suppose to get there. When society and the results of your quest speak to your success.. When achievement is it's only reward. No matter HOW you do it.... Then when finally you arrive.. you find yourself barren and bare. Self serving in many ways is self destruction. in politics, among other things, the goal can not be achieve without selling out. of course, I hate Trump it was never really a decision for him. He sold his soul to the Devil...Not because he made the decision.. he did it, because, in his mind, it was not only the right things to do.. it was the only thing to do. Trump's understanding of people..is their struggle... not with changing circumstances, but the guardrails of truth and morals, that prevent them from obtaining their goals.. One could think that I, in hating trump, can dismiss him as and anomaly.. You'd be wrong... I hate Trump.. because it about everything i hate about myself. For me it's not the 'big" thing moment...It's everyday life. It's about the choices i make everyday.. It's about trying to understand what my goals really mean...What achieving them can do.. both good and bad.

Steve Penny will hopefully go to prison.. He must pay for his choices...but those choices were not about these gymnasts.. those choice were about his life..same with Trump and others. Am i different? .. would i make different choices?.. It doesn't matter.... I know my choices , along the way,, would NEVER put me in his position.. . If my choices would put me in his position..I am pretty certain. I would make the same Choice. It's a shame, not that we don't punish criminal.. It's a shame how we CREATE crminals. Like all criminals.. Steve Penny's success has ALWAYS been his failure..We didn't condemn it.. We supported it.
