Dissent Now that Trump has been removed from my psyche..I can change my thought to different things. During the Trump administration, I was horrified at how TRUMP and his supporters handled dissent. How dissent , itself, created enemies, lies, punishments, and labels. My view of FoxNews, baiting it and condoning it, was offensive for any "so called" news outlet. I couldn't understand how some couldn't see it happening. Today, I have a better understanding of how that could happen... I find the Progressive end of the Democrat party to have the same approach. "Dissenters not Welcome". I find the so called Liberal media, to not give, the proper consideration for those who disagree with Progressives I know most of you can't see it...But as Trump has destroyed the Republican Party.. As will, on their current course, Progressives, destroy the Democrat party. I will followup with other issues..that express this. |

Last night at the Golden Globe, they made a issue out of Black not being represented as the voting correspondents. I guess that mean the Golden Globes are racist.. There are obvious racial issues defining racism in this country. But have we reached the point in this country, were to not be called racist, one has to PROVE they are NOT. $15 an hour minimum wage.. has many issues..Yet the progressive will Not consider, any of those issues.. People who express dissent of the $15 an hour, are attempted to be silenced. Cuomo.. is being attacked by Republicans..but more importantly by Progressives..Cuomo is not a Progressive....and does not fit the bill to achieve a more Progressive role for the State of new York.. They will do what it takes to get rid of him.

This isn't Joe Biden's first barbecue. 15 dollars is an arbitrary number ... and Biden knows it. The point is that people working full time shouldn't need public assistance ... normally.

I don't think much is going to change for the American working class while bribing politicians is still legal,.....from either side.......Ted Cruz at CPAC calling the Republican Party representing the Blue Collar worker and no longer the Country Club set .....completely absent of irony.......while Biden excludes the $15 minimum wage from the bill...... Both absent any meaningful values.......both in service of their corporate donors..

I have been thinking about this type of situation for a number of years~~ Radical views on any side of an issue are so entrenched there seems to be no room for any compromise no matter how small.

This isn't Joe Biden's first barbecue. 15 dollars is an arbitrary number ... and Biden knows it. The point is that people working full time shouldn't need public assistance ... normally. It is also true that public assistance to people who are paid "minimum wage" indirectly increases the minimum wage at a cost to taxpayers. However there is no real discussion about reducing federal assistance from increasing the minimum wage. Minimum wage increase has no real effect on healthcare support, child care support, child tax credits. and for the most part increases earned income credit.. It will certainly move the goal post as to the increasing the amount of the "poverty level". The fact is $15 an hour for families is still not a "livable wage" The Republicans erroneously talk about socialism in every different form from Democrats. If one can analysis, look beyond the obvious, the $15 minimum wage increase is the ONLY completely true socialist issue for Democrats and the only true socialists agenda item passable for Progressives. They will use that first.. Minimum wage has always been a bottom 'floor" showing the way to the stairs.. It was never meant to be an elevator. This is the "game" played in Washington disguising the true nature of what things mean.. by both parties.
