LEAF'S POLL...Chances of getting Covid19 My answer was .. I'm just not feeling lucky... Empathy, doesn't hold water when one feels immune.. WE as a country, have distorted empathy.. We as a country, makes feel "unlucky".. It's a hard question to answer, It's not like you have it or you don't have it.. WE all have it..Some to the extreme, some worst than others, and some asymptomatic It's never really been about them who got it and them who don't.... There is virtually nothing in our history to compare it with.. . A negative event, that has occurred over a years time, and has to some degree effected everybody negatively., and still we react with "them who got it and them who don't".. The idea of it's long term effect for those who got it and those who don't . The idea that when it's over..if it's ever over..... everything will return to normal...We can just waited it out. Hell will eventually freeze over Can we learn from this.. that it's the same for every ISSUE and every CONFLICT we have.. It's comes down.... to them who got it and them who don't .. For me I don't need to have it...To have gotten it.. I get it, No man is an island.... For me personally, I can only think, and fear and hope, Is it going to get better or is it going to get worse to the extreme? It's here, it's now, and it's in all of US. There is no them and us.. We ALL got it.. You too will feel "unlucky".. when you realize it's not up to you.. it's up to THEM |

Well I have to admit that the option you chose should have been my choice in all honesty. I ended up choosing 50 50 because I was forcing myself to be positive when I really am not positive at all. Experts are suggesting that 60 to 70 percent of Americans are going to get this. I have to agree with that sentiment, and there lies the dreaded reality of pure luck.

That's the problems, the sickness and the death can be blamed on China.. There are fricken idiots who believe him.. If I was to get it.. I wouldn't blame China... I'd blame my next door neighbor..I blame my community, I blame my State, I'd blame my country. People Transport this virus.. You don't have to get the virus.. if people would avoid giving it to you..It's people's fault....NOT CHINA'S. If I could depend on other people not to give it me.. I'd feel lucky..but I can't.. I see people walking around.. Not caring if they give to me.. Not caring if they got it or not, because they don't have symptoms..Only afraid someone could give it to them. It's crazy.. the way some people think..How bad it is if someone gives it to you..but not if you give it to someone else. You and I may fear we could die from it.. So we don't want to get it.. Which is the extreme......but short of that happening.. The EXTREME should be You gave it to someone else who died. There is no getting around that one..You give it to someone else and the string from that will absolutely cause a death. It a chain letter virus.. You get away with it.. but at the end people die. This virus ends ..when PEOPLE decide to do the right thing. I feel unlucky.. because I know they won't This president has done so many wrong things.. this President has exposed the wrong in us a all.. but of all things he has done..His personal, Personal handling of this virus.. Is the most indicative of the fact he doesn't give a shit about anyone else but himself. And I feel unlucky because he has exposed his supporters as not "giving a shit" about anyone else either..I don't disagree with their policies, I don't hate them for their choices, I don't hate them for their lifestyle... I hate them because they give don't s shit about me.. Yet I have to give a shit about them. How many times have you said to yourself .. you wish they would just give the virus to themselves, every damn one of them.. teach them a lesson. Butt then you should realize..it wouldn't matter .. they don't give a shit about each other either. There is no comeuppance for people who don't give a shit.. They are the VIRUS.

I agree with you 100% To proclaim otherwise just isn't credible. You do have to put a lot of Blame on Trump, the CDC and mask debacle, and the lunacy at Fox News. GOP Governors should all resign...ALL of them. Frankly, the Republican Gov in Iowa, Texas, Florida and George deserve prison.
