Separate but Equal..

First let say I don't believe in labeling.. What about say is just a propensity.. I see in both the white and black community....It is not intended label either group..

White people can be either a segregationist or a integrationist.. Although both sides exists, White people tend be integrationists...It's easy determine who are racists, as racists believe in segregation. but not so fast!

"Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, 347 U.S. 483 (1954),[1] was a landmark decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in which the Court ruled that U.S. state laws establishing racial segregation in public schools are unconstitutional, even if the segregated schools are otherwise equal in quality"

This ruling brought down the racist argument of "Separate but Equal". It made integration the primary focus..
But people ... People... hold ideas..with or without the law...

Segregation, Integration, and Separate but Equal...are white peoples words...for the most part not black people words. For many black people, white people's ideas about segregation, integration, and separate but equal.....are equally racist. Whites can not figure out, through the eyes of black people, how forced integration, in itself... is racist. Nobody seemed care in the 60's ask, Every white person thinks they already know the answer.

Anyway, this blog is about "separate but equal". A term not used very much anymore..the way it was used in the 50's and 60's..

"Black Lives Matter" is now the mantra...Of black peoples idea...of their own ideas about.....
"separate but equal".... The idea that white America can do away with racism by integration.....The idea of Assimilation can be racist....Nobody asked Blacks if they want be assimilated.... This is not, and has never been anything but racist.

"Separate but Equal".....and it's so called demise.. has been the mantra for White people ideas of integration and assimilation... White people, just forgot to asks Blacks.. if that's what they want.
Why would anyone believe that a black person would want to be assimilated into a white culture...That has been their oppressor....That is represented by a confederate flag. and confederate monuments. An elitist and racist white culture, that has tried to exclude them.. and now tries to get them to become one of them. Why would anyone think that an integration into that culture.. is anything but racist, and a proponent of that culture.

The idea that Brown vs Board of Education was a landmark decision.. It was for Whites but not for blacks...... It was never the demise of "separate but equal"....But a proponent for "separate but equal"

For me this is an argument that doesn't have to be fought anymore. The losers are obvious but the winners are still healing wounds from the fight. It's becoming easier and easier to marginalize the losers..natural death is helping

You totally missed the point.
You don't get it.. Your ideas about integration..equality of races..The thing YOU as a white man choose to do... are all inadvertently racist..

The Separate but Equal idea you bought into as NOT EQUAL.....black people never bought into...the choice of integration as being equal is NOT yours to make.

I don't think you grasp that my viewpoint here is independent on its face. It neither endorses nor opposes what you've put forth.

it may seem like I'm hrsh given the fact we basically see reality the same. The agreement of base facts is the only two people can have a discussion.
we agree on what it is.. the point of discussion involves..What You want it to be and that I want it to no longer be.. what it is.

Again I talk of the what and the how..

the common attitudes of people that create the problem . Trump for me is a separate issue... but those you oppose have commonality with you about the how.. although a difference about the what. You all think in terms of what it SHOULD BE an "should be"to me.. just doesn't cut it.
So YOU are destined for the same mistakes and same problems..they have..
When your "should" has a chance..and yet isn't.. what it is... the fight will never end.

The point you missed that I'm willing to discuss and trying to make.... Is that although segregation is racist . The idea that integration is opposite.. does not mean integration can not be racist. Integrations is not about racism.. To use racism and integration in the same sentence is racist.

I think your mind can't handle it.. That integration doesn't STOP racism.. And that forced integration is racist.
