Traveled Roads SHADOW TIME Born into life's light but no shadow have we How you cast your light is your shadow to be Age grows shadows that grow with you To cast a long shadow There's somethings to do Have a friend, give a smile Do some kindness, love awhile Be considerate, go the extra mile Walk in someones shoes be humble, win or lose touch a stranger, bear good news Always temper temperamental, Always judge judgmental Always be respectful, never be neglectful Always be understanding, never be demanding Good things and more make your shadow grow It will follow you from head to toe And when your time comes Just keep this in mind. Going to the hereafter leaves your shadow behind |

Roads When the day is done, On roads of dying light. We need not judge where we've been, but that we fought, the good fight Life is but the journey start to finish That bumpy roads of cobblestone never can diminish Many turns or straight as an arrow wide lanes, or paths that narrow The roads of fate or ones we choose Never define win or lose On the roads that lead Life does not depend From start to finish all converge at journey's end
