Protecting Democracy Against Itself In the latest polls Amy Klobuchar is now sitting THIRD in New Hampshire. People are not sheep. . |

The Constitution was design to protect Our Democracy from itself. To protect against foreign influences and internal influences... The Electoral college, for example, did not allow the most populist city or State from controlling our government..Especially since immigration of foreigners was confined to specific areas. They feared the Irish vote, the French vote, the Eastern Europe vote, the Alternate Religious vote...that did not find that offensive, if they could create them into an American vote....They feared even more the poor's vote, the women's vote or The Asian vote or the Black vote. and prevented it. never believing they also could be assimilated as an American vote.. That PREJUDICE lives on for some of those, and As we now fear the Hispanic vote. The Senate filibuster was to prevent a slim majority from pushing through their own advantageous legislation. The Founding Fathers..saw the problems and tried to use the Constitution to prevent them The idea of a "Republic" or The three branches of government were not designed to "RUN" our country that way.. It was all designed to protect the Founding ideas about their Democracy. The Founding Father were smart and intuitive about human nature....as it applies to governing...But they failed to completely see the future. They failed to see the communication ability it's immediate impact, without significant evaluation time. They failed to see partisanship as a device of obstruction. They failed to see the advantage to be taken, from what they hope would take away the disadvantages. They failed to see the eroded base they were working from.. that would make a person living in Montana totally different from a person in New York City...Or an immigrant from Central America totally different than an immigrant from Norway..They could not imagine the kind of division we have now..The would destroy the kind of principles they intended to set out. The Constitution is a living document... Reflected today in it's strict interpretation of it's own prejudices. Because of the failure of the Founding Father to see their own prejudices...that didn't exist as such, at that time. The America they knew, had more to do with the assimilation of "immigrants", by necessity of preventing foreign influences..Than the exclusion of Americans.. As they were a country entirely of immigrants. WE must remember.. That when the Constitution was written there was no such thing as an American.. The constitution did not describe an American... It created an American. The Founding Fathers would now be disappointed in their creation.

The founding Father could not see completely the evolution of America.. They knew it.. so instead of giving us rules..they gave us principles. Principles that were, in their mind eternal.. And rules that were meant to evolve within the principles. WE are neglecting the principles and gone to the rules... the rules of law....and the law of rules regardless of principles. WE believe we can use Laws to rule, instead of ruling by the principles of law.. Absolute LAWS.... corruption absolutely. Mistakely.....We believe in a revolution that can be caused by evolution. Instead of understanding it is only a designed pre-determined evolution, that can cause a revolution. People may say....It's not practical to just "go with flow"...we have to influence it..It's about creating the flow.... But much like our founding fathers....It's NOT just about going with the flow...It's about those who would create a different flow....... It's about PROTECTING the flow. It's about protecting our own evolution.

We have failed , and I am not sure how to make it right.. But in the measure of our failure let me say this..Contrary to the popular belief.. A "rich" Life is not measured by your bank account, But conversely, the potential for your moral bankruptcy.
