Impeachment..What's going to happen. Republican Senators are shaking in their boot..to have to vote on whether or not to impeach.. Each and everyone would prefer not to cast that vote.. It's a losing proposition. What i said about this impeachment is that Trump really doesn't matter.. It's the Republican Senate that matters. Trump is only ONE that can ride on his own coattails. The judgments about Trump are pretty much set in stone.. Which in itself is an amazing feat...It all about Trump..He alone is above reproach Senators don't get to ride that coattail.. they are judged independently. so what's going to happen ... How are Republican Senators going to get out of it.. Here's whats going to happen... No matter the evidence.. Don't expect virtually any Republican voting for impeachment.. Expect most Republican NOT to DEFEND Trump.. they will not want to make Trump the issue. By agreement and for purely political reason.. They will vote against impeachment..To defend the Republican Party, Not Trump, as being attacked by Democrats. That will be the issue. The Republican Party can not afford any disagreement on that issue.. Only very few Senators will be Trump supporters .. all the others will be Republican supporters. |

It's incredible the bail out of so many Republicans.. It's amazing that those Republicans don't seem to matter to the Trump base. It virtually makes Trump above reproach for Republicans.. Some have tried and ALL have failed.. However they certainly have opened the door to questioning...that no one is walking through. Senators matters... Senators hold the keys to the kingdom...But with what has transpired they can't afford any defections.....NONE...That would be disastrous for most of them... Opening Questions, that not only will sink the defectors, but also sink most of the others. A Republican, at this point, can not stand alone. Not being United in this, and they All Fall. If some defect....Even if the vote doesn't reach impeachment level, It will tear the Republican Party apart.

It's a catch 22 for Republican Senators. It's both a Presidential immunity and a Presidental pardon Trump got Republican Senators by the eight balls Senators are not afforded either a pardon or immunity.. there are NO coattails for them to ride . They need to make their own bed... There is no room in Trump's Tower bed for them

I think there is a reasonable chance the vote may be unanimous. There is a way for that vote to be secret and that's the way out. If it were unanimous, or the intent was to make it unanimous I can see this leading to resignation. I used to prefer resignation but now I prefer prison, and that would have to become from state prosecution. I'm unsure if state authorities could be convinced to fold up their tent if either impeachment, or resignation, became likely. A pardon at the federal level might play into this somehow. I can't even predict Pence would be the one who succeeds Trump. I can't imagine GOP senators want the tattoo of bribery to hound them, but, I would run advertisements, millions of dollars of advertisement and pin on them for months, even years if necessary. I would hound them into defeat or retirement and if I have to wage a one man political assault on their reputation I intend to do it. Call it a public service or whatever you want, but I'm not going to put up with anything less. But I'm just not sure what's ACTUALLY going to happen yet. I don't yet know if others will come to testify publicly. I'll probably have to wait until we get through a bit of the senate trial. I'm hoping that at least one GOP senator emerges soon...I fear all of them are already hiding under their desks. And it pisses me off.

I keep telling you the ONLY evidence that will change things.. Is the evidence of collusion with Russia. It really doesn't matter if it's intentional or not.. With Trump you don't work from his statements forward.. You work from his results backwards. The mountain of domestic if not sufficient now... will never be sufficient. You don't have to convince me of Russian collusion. I'm happy that the House is going to have the impeachment vote. At a minimum they need to act to slow the attack upon our institutions. But I believe the House will impeach and you're wrong about that. But the question is one of removal by the senate. Although it appears unlikely, I'm hoping that public pressure might change calculations. There will be coast to coast demonstrations the day before the House vote. That should tell us a lot. If at least 4 bail on the GOP and we got a majority that would be significant. That may not happen, but I don't see how any senator can actually vote to excuse bribery. We'll see how the House members present their case. More pressure is coming on senate republicans than I think the media may be expecting. It will feed on itself. You obviously missed the point.. That is exactly why it won't happen. They will Not Feed on themselves..it's not in their DNA.... That's why they are Republicans.. Unlike Democrats, who constantly ask who's for SUPPER?..Nothing is more important to Republicans. The vote to not impeach will be virtually unanimous. not matter the evidence.. of abuse, and obstruction. Treason and Russia is the only evidence that blows them up. Everything thing else can be WHITEwashed.. They will not allow Trump to misrepresent what he has done, and not done about Russia. They will NOT allow Trump to take credit for anything done against Russia. NOT he,, but they have done, in spite of him.

I can actually say I know over 200,000 people who have walked away from the democrat party and read their stories on why they decided to leave. People are sick of the whole thing and I'm one of them. The premise of Russian interference Still has not been totally resolved.... still is used by Trump as a "witch hunt" Never has anything been more clear to me, never has anything been more indicative of why it's not a witch hunt.. than a day in Helsinki.. In which the President had an entirely SECRET meeting with Putin. Then came out and said this.. Trump.. he had no reason to believe Russia interfered and that he believed Putin, over our own intelligence agencies, And Putin said.. It was Russia plan to help Trump. WE were never given an explanation.. a reason for these statements.. no defense has been made except calling it a "witch hunt"... And that insults my intelligence, and insults America.. From that point on I was aware of what Trump was doing... From that point on Trump has sided with Russian policies, on virtually everything involving Russia. Trump says Russia may have had a RIGHT to invade the Ukraine.. The Ukraine Ambassador and other Ukraine official call him a Liar, and an asshole. and somehow that become interfering with our elections? Then they get reprimanded by than own government for saying it.. simply because their government must have US support...so they must cowtow to Trump whims. Then that becomes proof... they interfere with our election. Russia is responsible for Ukraine corruption, Not Ukraine...Ukraine is trying to rid itself of Russia and it's corruption.. Trump is NOT willing to rid Russia from corrupting OUR elections and not willing to end Russian corruption of the Ukraine. You're welcome to argue, my interpretation of the severity.. but don't insult my intelligence .. and say it didn't happen.

Tell me they were caught in a Witch Hunt, and did nothing wrong. Tell me Manafort shouldn't be survielled..He wasn't... but he should have been..Not because of Trump but in spite of Trump. Manafort is NOT above the Law. Tell me it was Biden and Not Manafort that was part of the corruption of the Ukraine. One of the more interesting Character in this charade is Maria Butina....Tell me Butina wasn't a Russian plant. her work with Republicans wasn't a Russian plan.. Her asking Trump questions, at a news conference, wasn't a plant. Tell me Butina wasn't a Russian Agent.. Tell me Butina shouldn't have been convicted. Tell me. Butina got involved with NRA to combat the Russian disarming of citizens. Tell me why after serving her time.. Butina was sent back to Russia and recieved a hero's welcome. Please someone explain these thing to me.. Tell me this country isn't great... Inspite of who our President is..that all these things . we could find out.. we could combat Russia. We can carry out counter intelligence against Russia. We can sanction and condemn Russia.. And when we do that and Trump tries to take credit, and show he's not A Russian sympathizer.. that we know How great this country is.. because WE could do all that.. INSPITE of Trump.

How does one combat it.. when then Truth becomes a lie.. In politics and politicians that is the case. It's not just Republicans it's Democrats too.. The idea that whatever politician say..that sounds good is a Lie. The idea that anything that sound bad of the opposition is a lie. The idea that nobody tells the truth who does that. So what are truthful politician suppose to do? I can understand that.. What I can't understand is how how Trump can say something..that is neither the Truth or a lie? How Trump can say he committed a crime, and it's not a crime. How Trump cuts his own throat.. and everybody brings the bandages. How Trump can lay himself bare and still be insulated. These people may have not gone over to the republican side, but like me, they are now independent. Now I'm not saying all, but a few have joined the Republican ranks and are going to vote for Trump. You have Schiff saying don't say the whistle blowers name, but he swears he doesn't know who the whistle blower is, which is an out an out lie, and yet you now accuse me of not being able to think critically? Like I said, if a person spoke the name out loud, if he didn't really know as he claims, how would he know, how would anyone know if no one knows? I've been watching the fiasco, and there is nothing there. They are accusing Trump of doing something that Joe Biden has done and bragged about it. You can't see this? Besides the fact that our government has been doing this for decades, but because of all the hate out there for Trump, now it's a crime, it's treasonous, oh my! The real crime is how certain families are making money from their dealings with Ukraine, do I need to tell you who they are, or do you already know? My thoughts are, what are they hiding? Who loses the most if found out? Get your popcorn out and enjoy the show, the plot thickens! The republicans are not looking for factual evidence about WHAT TRUMP DID or didnt do.. They are looking, and YOU are looking, for excuses. Force those involved to tesitfy..Then see what happens..Republican can ONLY get esculpatory evidence from those already subpoena'd.. That TRUMP is not letting testify. Trump said he wanted them to testify during the Senate hearing... Okay, let's give him the benefit of the doubt...and wait and see... Even thought I have no doubt..
