Evidentuary Questions? The hearings where a challenge for those giving evidence..For the most part they were amazing. I know very few of you understand it.. How the Republicans rolled in this inquiry and how the witness responded.. Question and Statement posed almost all Republican is what they entered into evidence.. In search of witnesses to misinterpreted the question.. and expose themselves with their answers. These people gave testimony were smarter than most. They understood the peril of the question. It a way that conforms to what they do everyday., not to be caught in the question. In most cases their answers dispelled the question..but in being careful and indirectly dispelling the question.... Nobody was listening, and the question became the evidence. The statements, where evidence is ignored.. and the statements that contained evidence not in Admission.. became evidence. The unfairness of this hearing was was based on their saying, they have the right to confront the whistle-blower and the Biden's and taken their statements.. It's amazing that you people can be that ..This misdirection of this hearing of IMPEACHMENT is to put the whistleblower and the Bidens on trial... Granted they have that right, but not the right to put every single witness on trial, then simply misdirect an put the Bidens on trial. Which was the purpose of the quid pro quo in the first place. Lyndsey Graham has requested the FBI and DOJ do an investigation of the Bidens about the Ukraine..absolutely do it.And it doesn't take a genius to realize that wth this President and this Attorney General it hasn't already been done.. I say do it.. Do it to Bidens and Do it to the whistleblower.. But don't do it FOR the President. Don't do it Like it meaning something in regards to this impeachment. Don't do it to misdirect from the president..Don't investigate the president's EXCUSES. If you want to do it..Do it because it's stand alone, Do it for America, NOT FOR TRUMP This is design and aimed at Trump supporters and Senators... Where THEIR truth is trying to make an appearance.. It becomes the appearance of TRUTH. |

My thought today was from the movie "Kingdom of Heaven".. When the good Christian King is challenge about being king.. And says... I am not the King.. I am Jerusalem,, So I try to put two and two together.. Trump is not the President of America... He is America. Of course, I know he thinks that..What's good for Trump is good for America. That's how he got elected, It's his mandate and proxy given to him..To BE AMERICA These hearings are exactly about that..and the saying.. "MY country right or wrong" And who's defending What... Maybe you can't understand my meaning of words.. Both the differentiation and duality of things.. But in my view of the hearings on both sides are doing the same thing.. Defending America.. But it is disturbing to me...That, right or wrong, and the infallibility of Trump is seen by some as defending America.. Trump is America, and some have bought into the oldest con ever. My comparison is NOT of the leaders I am describing.. but in the people and the con. Did, in the people's mind....Hitler represent Germany or was Germany represented by Hitler? Does Putin get his support from people,, because he represents Russia or because he is Russia.?

Good Morning Cricket. My thoughts continue to percolate on the whole matter. I think its a good thing for congress not to be in session at the moment. I say that while not backing away from the position that I believe America faces peril every hour Trump remains in power. However, America has to digest this. Millions of people need some time to read about where we are. The effort to persuade has to unfold as those arguments also carry a lot of weight. It's not just about the testimony here, and yet, its all about the testimony here. We are not done and the senate hearings will add significantly to the debate. Impeachment is not a good thing for the country. Shocked to hear me say that? It pisses me off that the country has to go through this. What really disturbs me the most is the corruption at the highest levels of our Judiciary. In my view it is utter bullshit to try and feed the public otherwise. Barr is at the center of it, McConnell has been setting this up for years and I think Samel Alito and Clarence Thomas are as corrupt as they come on the Court. Kavanaugh is in a class all by himself. We've got a problem in America and while our constitution provides us a way out, the voters themselves have allowed the cancer to spread. Trump slithered in through a crack in the foundation and once a snake gets in a house it can become very difficult to remove it. So, I find myself in complete agreement with your statement "...That, right or wrong, and the infallibility of Trump is seen by some as defending America... Trump is America, and some have bought into the oldest con ever." it doesn't matter how old the con is. What matters is that a con is as fresh as a daisy when there is no awareness. Awareness is always more important than the con itself. That's what has been worrying me. I'm not sure if the democratic field is doing enough to address the awareness problem. We are very vulnerable and we are being tested every single day. Very few seem to be focused on that reality. This isn't about something that happened in May, or June, or July or August or September....this is about daily attacks on the country itself. We just don't have time to discuss it all. Trump is now overruling UCMJ decisions in the military. Who is going to step forward and stop that abuse? We are hopping over the line of 'lawful order' with increasing regularity now. I never saw it coming but pardon abuse set the stage for it. Military leaders have to be wondering....where are we headed next? They have to be cringing as they think about a future USS Trump in the fleet. It's just ugly, and potentially dangerous to screw around with military justice. That's not pre-season paranoia Cricket. Impeachment is a big deal and its not good for America at all. It certainly isn't appropriate to try and make it appear petty. At this juncture, and its not over yet, but at this juncture the best we can hope for is that impeachment gets us to an election of 'awareness'. That's what we need, and I'm not confident at all that is where we end up. Lastly I wanted to say that I expected a high degree of intelligence, devotion to country and decency from witnesses involved in foreign service. American diplomacy is complicated and these people are the best we've got. I was NOT surprised by the alarming reactions they so skillfully communicated. It really says a lot about the utter incompetence of the President himself. I have been very concerned over the numbers of professionals who have left, or who were forced out, of the State Department. America is significantly weaker around the globe today. So...as I ponder where we are heading next....surely, surely, senate republicans will give us far, far, far more than republican members of the House Intelligence Committee. That was as pathetic as it gets.
