Nancy Pelosi. I saw Nancy Pelosi on Face The Nation. I feel bad i missed Paul Ryan on 60 minutes, I'll catch up to that one. I just listen, don't really believe any of them, but they do bring up issues, I hear. Nancy Pelosi talked, I tried to hear her. She raised my eyebrows, not in agreement. It's about an issue I didn't realize, was about to happen. She didn say,the things I'm about to say. I'm not regurgitating her. Paul Ryan proposed budget, Seriously effects medicare and medicaid. Reductions, that direct effect seniors. 2/3rds of the reduction will effect seniors, who with no funds, will be put in nursing homes. Right now senior, who have no money, but social security, basically lose their social security when the government finances nursing home care. It's a government payment, that tries to have a lot of people, without money in this country, die with some dignity. Almost all of us here, no matter your financial condition, if you live long enough, you will get there. Jobs in Indiana, gerrymandering, the economy, welfare, rich and poor and racism, and abortion. Those ideas people have doesn't bother me. you may think so, but i don't really care, to each their own. I have given my opinion, whatever you may think of it, in my mind I haven't sided with a political ideology. Paul Ryan is pro-life.... OMG, the hypocrisy overwhelms me. This has changed it all, my being against this one thing, makes me liberal. In fact I am now "up in arms". Many of you, when these things are implemented will join me. I don't need to convince you. I'm joining the leaf brigade! |

the government recovery of spending in regards to nursing home care. Is the stoppage of social security. I know it doesn't come to full recovery. Not even close. But think of this... If we go to voucher system as propose, it virtually eliminates any recovery. It' will be just a way, for this kind of government, to not spend the money for nursing homes. That's the goal overall, to reduce the budget. What's wrong with these people? It's bad enough that people who get government assistance for this, by mandate have to be totally broke. can't have a dime. instead the government wants them to be in debt, not only them but their families? What's wrong with these people?

I have been through it with my parents so I know. My God, it really costly. It's a crazy amount of money for the government to spend.. My parent went through a couple of months before all their money was gone and they needed to rely on the government. I thanked God everyday that they were alive, for it. So if we can't spend it on that, What else matters? Well nothing to me. And when I get there. I would just as soon die. But i'm not sure my family would agree to that.. I know I didn't, when my parent would ask why they haven't died yet, they'd just as soon. Both my parents at the same time in the nursing home. They lived to 97 and 99... The cost was over $14,000.00 a month, for both. they were there for a little over a year, until they just gave up. both died of natural causes. that is if you call starvation a natural cause, they both gave up eating, had to be forced fed. I'm crying now, just thinking about it.

Jiminy I like your blogs and hearing your opinions. I really think you shouldn't respond to insults because they would love to see you say something wrong so they can get you banned or just give up and stop blogging as many other liberals have done.
