Clinton team to take part in U.S. state vote recount, Trump blasts effort

Well this is the headline of what I just read.

Liberal see it as a fact
Conservatives see it as a poor loser, and a waste of time.

I see, all you folks Liberal and Conservative are f*cked up.

I think it's not likely but possible, the computer vote counting could have been hacked.

What are we suppose to do about that?

just let it go

I don't think so, we need to hope it wasn't hacked and it can be proven.

Because if this investigation leads to a voter hacking issue...This country is in a world of hurt.
But then again, this country is in a world of hurt if we ignore it.

Hi Jiminy: The Electoral College alone decides who will become President, and they don't even vote until December 19. They are able to refuse to support the candidate they were bound to or they can abstain from voting altogether. In that case they would become a "Faithless Elector". So the number of electoral votes that Trump got on election day is not a done deal. The Electoral College votes on December 19 and the results are not announced until early January, 2017.

That's not going to happen.

I had a real problem with Trump rigged accusation. With Trump associating Democrat with fraud.

I saw it as more protection for himself than fact..

Heaven forbid, this was hacked.

Conservatives will not believe it, no matter what
They have been set up not to believe it.

People need to ask themselves,
why would anyone, set people up, to not believe something that could be true?

I spent over three decades as a computer geek.

I wouldn't trust computerized voting unless I thoroughly understood the process and could audit it.

In Canadian federal elections we use paper ballots. The process is well established, monitored, and verified.

I have acted as a scrutineer in a couple of elections and have concluded it would be very difficult to fix the result.

One of the things that happens is that the scrutineers from the various parties watch the process and the vote count. Once the count has been completed, the scrutineers call the vote count into their party HQ.

This would make it somewhat difficult to alter the count afterwards.

The worst case of election fraud I know about in Canada was during the last Quebec referendum.

The election officials were all appointed by the separatist government in power, and rejected 'NO' votes for any reason that came to mind - e.g. if someone used and X instead of a tick mark.

There were 50,000 votes rejected, mostly in heavily English-speaking areas.

The Montreal Gazette sued the provincial government to have access to the rejects, but so far as I know was never given it.
