Hate and the uneducated (a response to leaf's blog I wanted to save) Hate is not about education, uneducated doesn't mean squat didley. That cause is the problem, not the effect. It effects more conservative, but liberals aren't immune. Instead of education, I'd call it focus and fixation. the kind of ideology doesn't really matter. education is not just about subject knowledge....It has meant, to me, the ability to learn. When we use to learn, but we HAD to learn HOW to learn. The fact is our society, has created a monumental amount of knowledge, all at our immediate disposal. we just learn it, and not about it. WE don't search, discover, and reason anymore. WE make up our mind, and our mind is all made up as not to fact, but choice Learning is a process that never ends, You cannot make up mind, and stick to it.......You stop learning. . There are two kind people you speak of. Ones who are supposedly uneducated, not because of knowledge but the inability to learn. FOCUS Others who have the ability to learn, but choose to turn that off because off the subject matter. FIXATION I can read people here and see where they fall. You find it amazing how I view the people here. maise for example is not uneducated but fixated, but there are degree to that. Some people who are fixated, do so to support themselves, but still do it, with the idea they can learn. They do it to put there own mind in order. Others who simply repeat themselves over and over, the same way over and over are overly focused and do not have the ability to learn. As far as hate goes it not some evil, some deep character flaw. Hate is justification It's justifies those who are overly focused and cannot learn, and it justifies the fixated who don't want to learn, or have anyone else learn either. Liberals aren't immune. |

I think I need to explain FOCUS. People here I call narrow minded are overly focus in their own mind and do not have the ability to learn. When i call people narrow minded.... I am telling they can not learn. Although we sometimes think of this site as a microcosm, of our society. there's something else we need to understand.. As we age our ability to learn diminishes. Some by perceived necessity, some by choice, and some by their physical nature. So forgiveness and understanding needs to be the order of the day here, not hate. You see, I not talking to you.. I am talking to myself, it's what I need to know and do. I do that a lot here, so although I may be confusing to you, I'm working through it for myself (Since leaf usually deletes his blogs, I wanted to keep this to remind myself)

Although you see the darker ways, it's just not all true You label Conservatives through the eyes of bigots and racist,and sexist and elitist. They exist, but not are all Conservatives. You choose to see it that way When certain people side themselves with a political ideology that ideology should not be personified by those people as to themselves. You do that too. But it's a two way street, and it awful disheartening when certain people believe that their own thinking personifies the ideology. They are the ideology. Your reaction, to reverse this mostly conservative view, is at least rational. Let me give an example to make it easier to understand. If someone, like fossil, represents himself as the conservative ideology. See himself as the most representative of the majority of conservative. Then you in turn have the right to take the negative of fossil, and use that to label all conservatives. My opinion is that fossil is ridiculous to use himself as a personification of conservative, as he is just a very small part. You in turn are wrong to use his mistake of labeling conservatives to also label in reverse.

Actually that's not the case at all. I know many conservatives who are disgusted with their own party. Colin Powell's own deputy admitted on national TV that his party was full of racists. That is not in dispute. All kinds of conservatives have parted ways with the party because of the party's racism, greed, war mongering and bigotry, not to mention utter incompetence. Those were not stupid people who left. Even former senator Rick Santorum said the party would never attract the 'smart' people. He said that over 4 years ago and look what happened. When it comes to conservatives here there isn't much intellect to point to. That ought to be obvious to you as it is to me and several others. You just don't radiate competence when you constantly speak and write using vulgar language. Conservatives have abandoned the church by hundreds of thousands all across the nation. They have lost their way, brain washed into a hopeless slab of meat unable to touch their own toes. Constantly? Good one Adolpho...follow the leader, used whatever you can. Anyway..... Don't feel bad that I don't buy into your propaganda, just like I don't buy into theirs. What does my vulgar language have to do with ideas. Do I use it with you? or are you just commenting on my comments to them. Somehow give yourself credibility, and dismiss me. Like you can communicate with them with your non vulgar language. I use vulgar with them for one reason only......because i can't get through to them any other way. If they refuse to understand, then the heck with them and I let them know it. I give " big" an out, I might as well, it doesn't matter anyway. So you didn't understand what I wrote....that's okay You don't need to rain on my parade.....so you can march in yours. what, today , you just figured out I'm not on your side? I don't have a side. If you choose to do it , the way they do it, I'm going to call you out on it too.

Do you think that your non vulgar language make you more competent to them, makes you easier to understand. You have no clue of what hose people think is vulgar. Your statements here is more vulgar to them than any cuss word i could ever use. Like they respect you more because you don't use vulgar language. I believe vulgar is not in the word but in the idea. maybe you don't,. that's okay, you're entitled. I respect that, just like I respect "big" for the same position. You can go ahead and think you're better for not using it, like a word, made up of letters means something to you, and should mean the same to everyone else. Go ahead and become the word police, the dictionary, and the holier than thou.....It suits you.

Hi Cricket. The vulgar language comment was not directed at you personally here, it was a generalized statement, but, the answer is yes, not using vulgar language is far superior in intellect than a total lack of self-control. Those that use cannot even grasp something so profoundly obvious. Again, that comment was a general observation. I like reading your commentary and you regularly contribute something worth thinking about. Carry on... I find it ironic that You can be so easily misinterpreted. So i say "you folks". for the plural. but that to some is offensive. I just don't like using YOU for the plural. Just for this reason
