Early indications of Trumps election. Read two article today.. both were very disturbing. Trumps election has certainly brought out the cockroaches. The first article was about White Nationalist Supremists Trump election has embolden them. Gave them, in their own mind credibility, It's an indication of what this election has done. Personally I do not fear it. in the open, they will be squashed. The second article was way more disturbing. A different kind of cockroach. It's pertinent to us here on SFF. It's about tying the fixing of Obamacare with the fixing of Medicare. First it blames Obamacare for the problems with Medicare. It's an outrageous accusation, because anybody with any sense would realize Obamacare was thought up to protect, and fix medicare and medicaid. Obamacare was not very good, but it did not hurt medicare and medicaid.. it just didn't solve the problem. The cockroaches are out to destroy the essence and value of Medicare and Social security, as a government run social program. The ONLY government run program that defines as a nation. The article is not about Trump but about Paul Ryan, a new embolden cockroach. |

This is how absurd Paul Ryans comments are. If Obamacare has cause the problem of medicare. Then the repeal of Obamacare should cure the problems of Medicare it created. but that's not the case...it's not about fixing obomacare to fix medicare. It about using obamacare to destroy the essence of medicare. This is something we all should fear. There are issues outside of medicare that are effecting the viability of medicare. Obamacare tried to deal with some of those issues. not successfully. WE need to concentrate on those outside issues. fix them. If we cannot fix the outside issue, no matter what, this country needs to bite the bullet on medicare. We cannot destroy medicare because we can't fix the problems. WE cannot allow the problem OUTSIDE of medicare to change medicare. If the problems, such as medicare tax income, or increase health care cost, or healthcare lobbying, supply and demand, and an aging society, are causing medicare to go under. we only need to address those problem, not medicare. If we as a country cannot afford to support the elderly, to protect other citizens from the harm of having to deal with problem of the elderly, If we feel that is what we have to do, if we feel the outside problem can't be OVERCOME, and need to change medicare to accommodate it.. Then toss it all in folks, because we are no longer America.

I am not on medicare, I have a job, I have insurance. though I am on social security. When i reach about 5O years old., and saw my parent on medicare and social security. I realized, It value surpasses any other value of this country. I realize my position and my parent's position. It was quite evident to me of MY position without their Social security and medicare, was unfathomable. I could not have dealt with my parent position without it. My parent really didn't have any saving, they depended on social security and medicare, more importantly I depended on medicare and social security for them. Now I am them, and it's getting worse........I can't imagine how I would feel without it Not about how I would survive, but how my children would deal with it They still have a plate of life to live off. me well, you can just stick a fork in me.

You folks don't get the value of social security and medicare. This country doesn't get it. So many elderly and their primary mean of support, and so few elderly are rich enough to maintain without it. What you folks miss about it. is the effect it has on your children. More important....It's hard with social security and medicare alone to live, it's hard to be dependent, It's hard to survive it But the idea of living without it, for so many elderly would result in losing the will to live.

let me say something about that. I don't know if Trump is a cockroach or not But there is no such thing as a Trump cockroach.; Cockroaches existed before Trump and will exist after Trump. Like I said, the best thing that happened is that Trump has brought out the cockroach, that were there before Trump, not because of Trump So you're not a Trump cockroach But you may be just a cockroach.

They think putting back in your hands is best way to deal with it. Take it out of the government's hand. That's both social security and medicare. Now that may sound good. but believe me it's not. It may be good for the rich but the middle class working stiff, and the low income people, it would be a disaster.
