Appearances I peek around the corner to see if she's coming my way making sure I'm prim and proper, awaiting a day When love comes to find me Never thinking I have to meet it half way My clothes are cleaned and pressed My shoes are brightly shined My teeth, gargled, and brushed My smile practiced in the mirror. Anyway, my thought for the day The death from getting old........ is to stop trying. As one weighs the reasons, determines the need, see's the folly. It doesn't matter Life is not fair, we make that so Life is not the destination, but the journey A journey which only requires a step.

Beautiful poem Jiminy. Even though no-one who eats quietly has come to find me yet, I still gargle and do pedicures just in case. lol

I can't imagine what a woman would think checking out my toenails Not to mention all the fallout... (hair, teeth, and belly) and the radio activity, when I just hear it and begin to dance. Stick a fork in me......... As if I already haven't.... and you can't tell by my wasted lines. lol
