When Worlds Collide

Caught between two worlds
A dream and a reality
Of that which could be
And that which should be

I do not feast on fancy
nor dine at the dream table
For the food of life
is only eaten when you're able

But when the cupboards bare
What is one to do?
But dine on the thin air
and think fondly of you.
