Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire

I've decided to go back to writing poetry, and other stories and not post another political blog. So this is the last.
I think it's important for people to understand where I stand on these issues. Why, I'm so adamantly against the Tea Party, even though I'm not for Obama.
I just can't take the lies, the hatred, destructiveness, and propaganda from these people. It outweighs any agreement I have with their policies and programs.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I accept that, and for the most part I have always felt that any opinion is based on some fact, and a way of thinking that even if not agreed, should be acknowledged.
I do not fault the opinions of the Tea party members, they are entitled.
I draw the line when people use any means possible, including lying, to justify their opinions. That have the kind of righteous indignation that does not permit alternative points of view.
Lying is a funny word, a word that I don't use very often because it connotes things that are in themselves, a matter of negative opinion. Yet, its like any other name calling that is hurtful. I've probably heard and use that word more in the last few weeks that I ever had before.
I'm sure that we have allowed the tea party to change the meaning of that word. We have allowed them to use it, for their own gain, and not for the education of people. To use it as propaganda, not enlightenment.
They have in essence change my opinion of the word, allowing me to use it, under the same guise they use it.
Of course calling them a liar for the same reason they call the President of the United States a liar, does very little to get them to see the destructiveness of that word. They are the righteous and are first to say that a lie is an abomination to them. However it ok for them to use it lightly against the President of the United States. It's simply that THEIR self serving opinion of the truth is sufficient to call the President a liar.
What have we come to? In the political sense a difference of opinion now makes at least one participant a liar.
How does this country come back to finding agreement, a consensus of what's best for the country, if one resorts to calling the other a liar.
They will tell you it is fact, it is the truth
I will tell you it is THEIR facts and THEIR truth, not mine, and it's a lie. Calling them a liar, is now okay with me, because it's based on my facts and my truth.

Maisie

Their is huge difference between calling a president a liar, and a variant of that. There's a huge difference between agreeing that someone spoke something the wasn't entirely true and calling him a liar. I agree that Obama said wasn't entirely truthful but to call him a liar and insinuate he should be impeached is destructive, unacceptable, and in itself a lie.

You're not getting rid of me that easy.
Although I will not waste my time doing my own blog about political stuff doesn't mean I won't waste my time posting on your blog.

Doing it bothers me when I respect someone's opinion, like your own, even if we never seem to agree. I do not fault your particular method. I also appreciate your attempt at understanding what our disagreement is all about. Even if you refuse to accept it.

Your obviously are not mindless, but I feel obligated to say that just because someone agree with you, doesn't make them not mindless too.

1. Believe me, it's not the way the Republican paint it. I know I work for the IRS. There is no lie here

2. This was a slanted truth, not to deceive, but to protect. Whether it was for people that worked for him, or the Libyan government, I'm not sure.
But I have to believe, he didn't want it to happen, he didn't cause it to happen, And he will do what it takes to make sure it doesn't happen again. Again, I believe it's not a lie, just not telling the whole truth.

3. He's done exactly what you proposed he should do. It's not good enough for the tea party. Once a liar, always a liar to them, and especially when it to their benefit to call him one, whether they believe it or not.
To me he could not guarantee what he said. To them it's was a lie without the guarantee.
To me, he was trying to reassure most American would be able to keep their policy (this is true). To them if even one person could not keep their policy he was a liar.
The true irony here is that he will probably do something really stupid to protect those, that others say he lied to. Then he'll get the double dose of stupidity and lying. These people aren't concerned about lying, because whether a lie or not they will fight tooth and nail to prevent fixing the so called lie.

big.
It wasn't a conspiracy. These thing are based on tendencies. Income levels, types of deductions, etc etc, someone in Columbus saw a tendency of people belonging to tea party to avoid taxes. That person used that information to warrant audits and tax exempt status additional documentation. The person who made that decision was wrong, in deciding which group of people had more tendencies to avoid and not pay taxes. His action weren't as biased as they were misguided in doing his job. When any group uses group methods to avoid taxes, They are subject to this type of reaction from the IRS.
The problem with the IRS is that honest people get the same shake as dishonest people. Honest people should not be afraid of an audit.
so the yelling and screaming by you folks is more about you attitude of tax avoidance than it is being an group that was picked on unjustifiably. You say you weren't getting the same treatment as everyone else. Well then fund the IRS properly and then everyone else will get the same treatment you guys got, not the other way around.

"Jiminy, I asked you if these other news sources were all wrong. The list is hardly extreme right. The Huffington Post, or CNN, Even USA Today. I also thought the inquiry was to have originated in Cincinnati, not Columbus. So I ask you once again, are these News organizations wrong?"

big

First you have said nothing, other than what I say is untrue. You are a biased fool, Referring to CNN and such only when it suits your purpose. The explanations that they or you could attach, all conform to what I have said. yet to choose that my idea would be non-conformist. I maybe a liar because I thought it was Columbus and not Cincinatti. Well, it all O hell Oh!

I must have said what I said because.. I am a lair. I'm a lair I'm a liar
I'm a liberal, I'm a Liberal, I'm a liberal.
I'm an Obama supporter, I would die for Him. I love him so much.
I love Obama, I love Obama, I love Obama.

And to end this let me say.
I do believe, you are a hateful, old man, who prejudice and bias is undeniable. Who's capacity to accept any alternative opinion is non existent. Who's way of thinking will destroy this country if allowed to continue. You can not negotiate, but will lie and say it's others who will not negotiate. To try and make yourself look better. you would deny government spending to promote the general welfare, and then blame it on the liberals for not spending it and being the cause of the harm.
You would ruin people lives, without concern for any ones well being but your own.
You lie to yourself and then try to tell your lying truth to the rest of us.
You Sir, are an elitist, facist, lying, racist, bigot, uncaring, unyielding, unthinking, nincompoop! That's my OPINION and I'm sticking to it.
You and your cohorts, like grandaddy, rich, and JHK are sick people. The worst kind of Americans I have had the unpleasurable experience to speak to.
I no longer will tolerate the possibility, that you have any sense whatsoever. Either through you silence or your agreement. You have
allowed some of the most egegrious statement, I have ever read or heard to go unchallenged. You Sir, should be ashamed to call yourself an American, A constitutionalist, or a Republican. you disservice them all. Don't bother responding I don't give a shit about anything you have to say.

Big
It's hard for you and your types to understand, I don't have a position of the subject matter. Your goal is to make it about the subject matter and twist it to your liking. We are discussing things on different planes. The policy decisions, the people, the programs I don't care if it's Liberal or Republican point of view. I view for my opinion of each regardless. You don't acknowledge anything thing I say even that which is in partial in agreement with, you don't acknowledge anything I say that's against the other side, either.

"The person who made that decision was wrong, in deciding which group of people had more tendencies to avoid and not pay taxes. His action weren't as biased as they were misguided in doing his job"

Why isn't that statement good enough for you? I called it a mistake and misguided. Yet you see it as a defending the Obama administration. You still can maintain your ideas, that it was some kind of great conspiracy. I don't care if you do or not. I care that what I say to you is said to be untruthful. What's wrong with you?
