Moonlight's Woo I wrote this poem to Cariad, just wanted to save it on my blog. It was written in response to one of her many terrific poems. In the still of night He hears the coo of wanderlust and moonlight's woo The scent of her sweet perfume She wears the black night dress Her cascades of hair and silky touch Enhances her warm caress He sees the flower of moonlight Which blossoms in the sky For those who ask why not instead of asking....why A simple remembrance to dream that love, need not be strewn When magic's stars dance in step All's well, above the moon |
