IT IS GOOD TO KNOW THERE ARE EVACUATION PLANS, YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN THE MAINLAND ARMY WILL INTERVENE. ALL MY BEST.

I'm sure she is being cautious and knows exactly what to do and where to go in case of an emergency.

The McDonald's menu in Hong Kong sounds a lot more interesting than ours.

I just answered Boogie's comment of concern for your daughter on my blog.... and then found this.
I guess if she isn't concerned, you shouldn't be either, but as a mother, I know you are. Hopefully, her company has enough sense to evacuate their employees before things might get really ugly.

Hi Rubi. I'm watching that situation closely. I think what worries so many is what will the mainland do if protests start popping up in mainland cities. But what's important is her safety of course. Keep me up to date. I would really appreciate that....anytime.

There are 300,000 people in Hong Kong who are Canadian citizens. I wonder how many of them are seriously thinking of coming to Canada? Vancouver can't afford another influx of rich Asians.
