Foreign Expert at China A call in my office- He be teaching at a university of China in last year till now Once a long time ago, He has a lover in China and he has to admit that he is still heart broken about it. He planned on marrying her as soon as he could deal with business, family, divorce, and legal issues in the U.S. But when she finally told her mother - her mother did the "control my thing" and pretended to faint and have a heart attack - all the while screaming "Ai ya!". The girl (lady) got very upset and told him: " I love you but I cannot lose my mother." That was the last He heard from her other than through a mutual friend who told her she was cruel and selfish for treating him that way. Her reply was: " Yes, I know I am selfish. I am happy here in Beijing and like my life." That was the "end" of the "love of his life." So, now. .. there are no lovers, no females, no friends, no one. No one to talk to- have dinner with, walk around in the evening. . .Bu! No one to help him buy a telephone and obtain a phone card for local and international calling. No one to help him bargain with vendors to buy things "on the street" that he need - like a DVD player, computer printer, etc. Pretty helpless - yes? Especially to figure out which buses to take, foods to order and most everything else. Not speaking Chinese, except for a few words, is a real handicap. He really got spoiled when He was here before - He became used to having his lover by his side every day - not only while here, but especially for travelling all over China, Thailand, Cambodia and even Macau. But that is all in the long distant past now. He is staying in the Foreign Expert's apartment building at the South, University of Foreign Studies.   |

He already 70 years old from Texas and worked in South China long time ago.....

wonder why he go to China in first place. Can't much money there compare to USA, right? Also have to worry about pervert come from USA go to China molest kiddies. Lots of strange peoples like that. They like have some thing to do with girl under 18 year old. I don't know why. Maybe is strange so should be careful that kinda guy. USA Vicky
