SYMPATHY FOR THE DEVIL

while having a regular convo over the phone with a friend, i was informed that some infamous entertainer suddenly died that day -

since i didn't listen to radio nor watch tv that particular time, i was totally unaware of what happened.

i watched later, as every late nite news blasted the airways with the all-stars passing -

hmmm, pope-star status, i could jus' see the front pages the next morning -

a day later, i went to the local auction and market where people from all over came in droves, bidding on cattle, buying plants, flowers, produce and general merchandise, - i spent almost the entire day passing thru the hordes of people, finally sitting down to a great meal of some italian sammich (sandwich), even though it took 10 minutes to get served -

i did not hear 1 person mention the previous days loss of this icon of our times - because i didn't hear others talk about the previous nite's news, didn't mean that no one mentioned it. what i mostly heard while munching away, was ....

" ...hey thar bawb, howz dah wife n' da doin'?..." ,

it appeared that no one gave two rats arse - since everyone was involved with getting their faces stuffed, taking their for ice cream, and walking poochie thru the massive crowds, mingling with friends whom they'd meet on that wonderful sunny warm day.

it finally dawned upon me at the end, that there is a huge part of the population that really doesn't care about who drops, since we are mostly effected by those who pass thru our lives personally.

i learned an important life lesson from a dear american business acquaintance when it came to sales ........ ( everything is sales )

" some do, some don't, who cares, who's next " and that too applies to life and people

the best i've ever seen is ...

THRILLER.

a talented young singer and dancer who used his wealth to disfigure himself ~ how sad he couldnt live with all that nature gave him

no doubts the crows will be circling to feast on anything left of his vast fortune ~ money taints all it touches

no doubts just like Elvis he will pop up doing weddings in vegas and shifts at the corner store

Even in death...the vultures will make their money.

The deaths of these entertainment celebrities is sad....I'm sure that those who the media has been hounding lately are very happy to have the spotlight off their activities.
