Our wonderful pets............. Pets mean so much in our lives......I'd like to share a poem all about mine. My Little Golden Girl My pretty little girl She's as happy as can be Playing with her favorite toy A caterpillar brings her joy With eight wiggly legs Different color rings Making talking noises Bumping into everything Jumping high in the air Up and down for a treat Why on Stupid Pet Tricks I know she should compete Yet I know she is not stupid For she is my little girl Surely she'd make them smile Turn their heads all in a whirl Prancing is her favorite thing Running; fur flying in the wind Head held high up in the air Many glances and some stares She has a gentle nature Yet she is protective too Trying so hard to please In all that she tries to do Excited with life's simple things A joy to be around Alert and smiling eyes Little blessings she has found She lives her life day to day Not a complaint or unhappy sound Aware of her surroundings And true happiness she's found Lessons could be learned from her I just know that this is true To appreciate life's simple things And to be thankful, kind and true Pieper 5/3/09

Hi Pieper, I have a cat and Puddy is 16 yrs old. So, that makes him an old man in human years. He's had many a tears shed on his old fur.

Sogentle, you got that right.......They are part of our families each having their own personalities. I am very leary of people who have no use for animals and yes we do need stiffer laws to protect them. There are so many being abandoned, abused, neglected etc. Very sad. Thank you for your comments and for drawing attention to abuse.
