The greatest movie ever made

Heck of a title isn't it?

Actually this film, by Jacques Tati, is one of the greatest comedic films I have ever seen.

Yes it is French, and done in the 50s, but the humor is timeless, and each piece flows into the next.

It is called "Mr Hulot's Holiday". You most certainly can locate it through Netflix, or Blockbuster, but you also should be able to get it through your local library system.

It is one of those films that you walk away from with a smile on your face that lasts and lasts and lasts.

You will remember the "funeral tire" sequence forever.

Hi Unconventional: My #1 all time favourite movie was an Italian film called "Macaroni". It is the very unusual story of an Italian man (Marcello Mastroianni) and his strange friendship with a visiting U.S. businessman (Jack Lemmon). It is too difficult to explain the plot but this film will always be #1 with me. I don't know how anyone could ever come up with such a wonderful story like that one, such drama and comedy at the same time, so touching, and the acting was incredible.
