Respect, let's have some :)

well I'm talking about my here because if she doesn't respect me and stay out of my space I'm in a world of trouble physically. For horses the latest thing to do is put them in a round pen and send them around, you telling them when they should stop, change directions, keep going, how fast they should go and if they should approach you.. When they are learning what you want they will turn their lowered heads into to you and start licking their lips. They also learn to give you your space, like a sphere of safety space around you.
Well don't we wish we could do that w/ people Of course for the most part we don't have to worry about getting hurt physically by a person but emotionally can hurt just as much..

So here's my plan.. I'm putting my next problem person, man or woman, in the round pen and snapping the lunge whip at their pretty little butts. If they don't submit promptly they're going to be looking mighty puny.. ahh, if only it were that easy.. YEEE HAAA Hey, this could be just as good as a personal trainer.. LOL, This could be my claim to fortune

All I pay my psychiatrist is the cost of feed and hay, and she'll listen to me any day.

That technique worked wonders for my 1600 pound Fresian/Quarter mare. I can think of a few around here that might benefit from being made to run in circles for a while.

Hey cowgirl,
What a wonderful idea!!
Yes, I've gotten myself tangled in a lunge line a time or two--lol.
For those not involved in horse training, the lunge whip is not used to strike the horse...just snap to get its attention or as LiberalArts said...just a little nip--kind of like a quick jerk to halt a dog during training.
I guess the problem would be...who decides who goes in the round pen--lol !!!
Take care!
