I heard the news on the radio today. Regardless of celebrity status or method of suicide, it is so tragic. A young woman, with a child and husband.........the scars from that event will haunt them for the rest of their lives. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

I am not sure that giving instructions on HOW to do it is a great idea. Whatever the method, suicide is a tragedy and I hope those contemplating it will seek professional help instead. Elaine Shuel

I was wondering the exact same thing. I heard that Robin Williams killed himself with a belt over a door. Can't visualize either method.

Maybe, even in choosing the methods of suicide, the celebrities’ want to leave examples that would be a subject of year long discussion if not more! The suicide weapon has to be some thing spectacular!

A scarf is softer and less painful than a rope I guess. Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.
