SEEKING COMMON PARALENCE WITH OTHER FELLOW JOURNEYER I am attempting to find my way into making network contact with other senior friends and am considering upgrading to the silver membership. Not particulay computer savey and so hoping to get some "gentle guidance" as to who and where to go. Not sure what this will do entering this area but have attempted to respond to an inquiry made by a gold member and apparently can't respond by e-mail unless I join. Have some questions about the automatic renewal of membership that I am being cautious about until I get a response from the customer service inquiry I made earlier this evening. I have just recently moved to northeast Portland and really don't know anyone at all here. Looking to meet with other individuals who have an eclectic range of interest from art to music to philosophy to cross-cultural wisdom. I hope this entry will create some kind of meaningful response for me. Blessings Sunday -October 7, 2009 I joined the Silver Membership last evening and have already had some quality interaction with some folks for the local area. Not sure exactly how a "blog" works so any directing commentary that anyone would wish to post here would be appreciated. Have no problem adding a picture. However the only digital camera I have is currently on loan and the other side of the country and so stumpted as to how I would be able to download anything to the photo section of the site. Not sure who decides to read individual blogs and I will just say that it is a welcome change to at least have someone to contact via this senior friend finde service as I have been in Portland now for going on two months and am still feel like I am on a island. That having been said, the portrait of fall is beginning to reveal mystical magical moments here in the Pacific Northwest and I am going to take every opportunity I get to "drink it all in."
