Diva Las Vegas!

With many thanks to a wonderful man , we're headed to Vegas for a week!! Our itinerary includes seeing Tony Bennett, Bette Midler, Jersey Boys, two Cirque du Soleil shows and more. I'm thrilled ~ I've never been to Vegas!

Do you have any favorite places you'd recommend seeing/going to while we are in Vegas?

The positive is there. Sometimes it's just hard to find.

Fremont street as suggested. The light show is simply mind boggling. The outside shows on the strip, Bellagio, Mirage, TI. The show inside Caesars. The jousting at the Excaliber and last but not least, Danny Gans

One of the first things he checked out was to see if Danny would be performing in Vegas while we are there ~~ boo, hoo, he isn't! Will have to catch him on the next trip! Thanks for the input and stopping by.

I recommend Cease rs...After checking out of your room in the morning but wanting to hang out for a while in the hotel shopping or gambling, their potties are clean and comfortable...Oh bring an extra bag as their towels will hardly fit into a normal sized one..

lol The thought did cross my mind that Bellagio towels would be great souvenirs but NWA charges $25 to check the extra bag!!

Caesar's was amazing! Saw Bette Midler there.

Caesars Palace is the most awesome hotel and one of the oldest. The statues are magnificent and the Forum shops are excellent. FAO Schwartz has a 3 story rocking horse outside it's front door.

All of the sights are very much worth seeing. You'll find a guide in your hotel room and it will take a week just to see a few of them.

Have fun

Newday~~ Lucky you, you're already in Vegas 24/7!! Love the statues at Caesar's. My bf's friend (who lives in Henderson) told us to come back anytime -- yippee!! Thanks for stopping by and the valuable input.

I've always loved going to red rock canyon (less than an hour's drive west of Las Vegas and has many significant geologic features) and explore amazing nature in all its splendor. so if you're the type who loves the outdoors but don't like to go hiking (although you can too) have fun exploring the canyon!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to save that adventure for my next trip to Vegas. Miss you gf.

I think you will find Gans at the Encore theatre in Vegas

My bf said that Danny Gans was not performing during the time period we were in Vegas. I'd love to see him and guess I'll just have to go back to Vegas!!! Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
