"I Don't Know Nothin' 'Bout Birthin' Babies" *

Okay, got your attention. lol No, I'm not pregnant...nor did I attempt to deliver a baby. I read Tango's blog about her new grandson -- who weighed over 10 freakin' pounds -- and it brought back memories of birthin' babies. (Think hee-hee-hooos).

So, since today is the 37th birthday of my second born, Kristina, the wonderwoman who beat cancer (knock on wood), I thought I'd ask the question, how much did your babies weigh at birth?

I'll start! My first born: 6 pounds, 8 ounces. Second born: 8 pounds 14 ounces. Third born: 9 pounds, 7 ounces. Fourth born: 9 pounds, 14 ounces. And fifth born: 8 pounds, 3 ounces.

Other thoughts while I have your attention...Anyone see the commercial where the woman is in labor and gives birth to a ? No thank you! lol

And, BTW, "Gone With The Wind" is going to be on TCM Thursday evening (afternoon for y'all on the West Coast...middle of the night for some of y'all). "...Oh, Ashley..."

The positive is there. Sometimes it's just hard to find.

LOL, I recall a conversation with a young man who was conversing about how his wife's obstetrician predicted from a sonogram that his child would weigh in over 10 lbs.All of mine hurt like hell and only weighed in from 6 to 8 lbs, so I said gee, "She's so small, that's really gonna hurt!". he started laughing and said nawww, 10 lbs. going in, 10 lbs. coming out, no big deal! Well he was like 6'2" and kind of hefty so of course I kind of shut up about it, but of course laughed.Sometimes guys will come up with some good ones!

Just think about that lol, a 10 lb.'r, lol.Oh my!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When something wicked this way comes, run!

I feel like a wimp, my oldest daughter weighed 6lb. 4 1/4 oz. and was 21 inches long, my 2nd daughter weighed 7 lb. 9 oz. and was 19 inches. I did sort of cheat having them...had hypnosis with both so birth was pain free!
