Beach Party Picture courtesy of Photobucket - Artist Unknown With the looming freeze of winter The daunting cold of fall The wife put me in a dither With "Let's go play beach ball" We cranked up the old jalopy And headed for the beach One G-string and a bikini A can of suntan each The sun was out, the surf was up And bare bodies abound I hope she did not hear me gulp As I cast eyes around So there we were in our glory Paunches and boobs hung low With hands held behind the fanny To hide its overflow It's clear that we were, to many The objects of their lust Thank gawd for plastic surgery That all eyes were on us Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past |

You do not want all eyes to be on you or to the objects of people's lust? Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Hi flakes, "Eye-messing"? G-strings? Sunglasses? Oh! You are referring to Joe. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Hi mrsjoe, I found the picture in Photobucket. Joe must be the unknown artist who posted it. Cold and windy huh? No more Indian summers? Over here it is hot and rainy. Have you ever experienced hot rain? Also, it does not just rain here; it pours! Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Hi mrsjoe, You are right. it should be warm rain and not hot. It is rain with the sun shining brightly and I believe it is common in the tropics. I have seen snow just once in Vancouver. It was like the cotton flakes that float down from our Kapok trees. I remember asking my friend's son, who was about 10 then, what it was and he gave me that "OMG,where did he come from look" before telling me it was snow. It was a beautiful sight! Blizzards - no, but I do remember my friend's sister-in-law running after me with an umbrella one day. I was astonished when she told me it was raining; it was one of those gentle mists that I used to encounter in the hill resorts here in Malaysia (without an umbrella). Hi summer, Thank you. This was written for a picture-prompt contest in AP but I did not win. The competition was too stiff. "Young In Cheek" (the small fish in the mouth of the big fish) won Honourable Mention though. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past
