Negativity and positivity are just words we use to describe our personal perception...or interpretation... of the attitude(s) of others. I think they are also words that are overused and misused. Considering that neither could exist without the other, it would be totally unrealistic to expect someone to be always one or the other. No person is negative...sometimes their words may be, sometimes their attitude, but isn't that what personal freedom is all about?

Hi again Classy,  , Hi whiterose, Good for you. Hi Katie, I concur that positivity (and negativity) is an attitude and, therefore, cannot be claimed. Hence, I doubt very much that personal freedom allows anyone to proclaim himself as positive while labeling others as negative simply because they do not agree with his views.
