LOVELY FLOWERS, LEE. WE HAVE SERIOUS WATER RESTRICTIONS THIS YEAR OWING TO A LACK OF RAIN AND MY PLANTS HAVE PRODUCED ZERO FLOWERS SO FAR THIS SUMMER. VERY UNUSUAL.

Those flowers are not Lupines, they are Foxgloves......I'm only telling you because Lupine seeds are commonly eaten by Humans as a protein source , but Foxgloves are very poisonous......they contain large amounts of Digitalis, which is a heart stimulant.....
