Friday's Bouquet

We crossed paths with this flock of geese at a farm recently. They became agitated and were honking loudly with necks outstretched and wings in the air. Just when we thought they were going to attack, the little gosling calmly led them away from us.

Geese can be very good guard dogs on occasion.

Thank you. I do not know what type they are but have seen them since when I was a kid. These are bigger and heavier than the Canadian geese and do not fly. I suppose they must be the Asian geese.

Thank you. What you say is true. Sometimes it is not the size but the heart. I don't know whether you have come across these geese but as a "kampung boy", I have. Many times.
