Bougainvilleal Camouflage. Two photos of bougainvillea plants at a small Italian village. The plants have climbed up the walls to cool the houses and add colour to them as well. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past |

Hi Lee: That is so pretty how the plants grow so big and cling to the wall. I would love to see Italy.

Wild and free just like I like my plants but bougainvillea can get way out of control very quickly. Personally I love it but know of folks who wouldn't have it due to it's invasive nature. Spiritwoman ^i^

Hi Lee: That is so pretty how the plants grow so big and cling to the wall. I would love to see Italy. So go to Italy. If I remember correctly, this village is on a small island situated in Italy's largest lake. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Hi 1750, I have not been to Greece yet. Do you notice that the road actually passes under the building? Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

You are right and I think its invasive roots reinforce the walls of the old buildings. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Hi Rose, I wouldn't mind letting it "invade" my house too. There are many different types; they are hardy and can be easily grown with cuttings so you can try growing them. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past
