It looks very different than the strawberries we are used to, the leaves are the same. Looks mighty tasty though.

Oh Lordy Lee, what great memories I have of the Cameron Highlands. We used to go up there for a break from the heat and humidity. So many years ago. Nice picture. Alfie...

Hi Lee: Beautiful colour but doesn't look like the strawberries we're used to seeing here.

A bit "lumpier" than local strawberries. We have fields and fields of them around here as the area where I live is an agricultural area and commercial strawberry growing one of it's main crops. Our season begins in Feb. and just ended a week or 2 ago. fortunately thee are some small local growers who will provide fruit at small stands for a few months yet. Spiritwoman ^i^

Reminds me a bit of "salmon berries" which are a wild berry that grows in our forests.

Thank you all for your comments. When we bought the plant, it was your normal strawberry but I guess the heat in Taiping has stunted its growth and we end up with a dwarf. It's still very pretty though. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Looks better thanthe local ones. Once I learned that the little seeds atop of ours were their sex organs, I immediately lost interest in having them any where near me!
