Foto Friday - Hats

I saw this Jamaican Rasta Hat on a street in Venice, Italy last week. He was singing and playing some nice music, most probably Reggae, with a broad smile on his face.

Did you go to Venice?I wish I were you! Tell us something about the trip. An interesting instrument that the guy is playing. Thanks Lee.

Plenty of color in that hat!

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

Hi Loth,

I was there on Friday the 14th. It was a group tour and we were there for a day only as we had to rush off to Verona. Thanks for the invitation to meet.

Hi GLUMO,

Yes, I was in Venice for a day. We took a boat ride from the mainland to the island and the scenery was beautiful. The houses by the sea and some of the boats were interesting. Maybe I can post some of the photos later. However, the gondola ride was not as expected. There were 5 of us and the "gondoleer" had us sitting still in our positions to balance the boat so that it won't capsize. It was scary when we boarded the boat in the open sea but when we reached the canals, the water was much calmer. But the water in the canals are not so clean and even smells a little. The gondoleer didn't even sing and we paid more than 200 euros for the ride.
