Hi traveler, In Thailand, there is the fragrant coconut. It is a small green coconut and the coconut has a fragrance rather like that of the pandan, a fragrant leafy plant. As such, the coconut is known as Pandan coconut. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Hi akamatt, Thank you. Pineapples grow on short leafy plants without a trunk that resembles the Aloe Vera. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Hi Destiny, The yellow coconut is same like the other coconuts. It is only the rind of the nut and the fronds that are yellow. As such, and also because of it's short height, it is often planted in gardens for ornamental purposes. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Hi sycamaria, I only found out it's name recently. The fronds do look a lot like fox tails. Thank you. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Hi Tussie, I did not either. The heatwave has been around for the past few months and this must have caused the palms to fruit. I just point and shoot. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

There are many palm trees here. I hadn't seen the two last. Thanks, Lee. Number 4 is local. I remember fooling around with the nuts to cause mischief when I was small. Number 5 I don't know. I was actually looking for a palm tree that I had seen once with fruits that look like the sea coconut when I stumbled on this. Hi grouch, I am sorry but I don't know much about these palms. Most of the palms were shot in the Taiping Lake Garden. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Hi Poet_Dancer, Lots of nuts in Singapore too? The variety that I forgot to mention, has it anything to do with nutty blogs, pics and poems? Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past
