Hi mrsjoe, I had seen some of that too in Beijing. Brown patches of ground turning green by the day, bare branches break out in buds... beautiful. I have read that lilac is one of the first to bloom in Spring but have yet to see one nor a crocus pushing up through the soil. Sigh ...
