SOME THOUGHTS FROM CHANAKYA

“A person should not be too honest.
Straight trees are cut first and Honest people are MISUNDERSTOOD and victimised first.”

“Even if a snake is not poisonous, it should pretend to be venomous.”

“There is some self-interest behind every friendship.
There is no Friendship without self-interests. This is a bitter truth.”

“Before you start some work, always ask yourself three questions – Why am I doing it, What the results might be and Will I be successful. Only when you think deeply and find satisfactory answers to these questions, go ahead.”

“As soon as the fear approaches near, attack and destroy it.”

“Once you start a working on something, don’t be afraid of failure and don”t abandon it.
People who work sincerely are the happiest.”

“The fragrance of flowers spreads only in the direction of the wind.
But the goodness of a person spreads in all direction.”

“A man is great by deeds, not by birth.”

“Treat your like a darling for the first five years.
For the next five years, scold them.
By the time they turn sixteen, treat them like a friend.
Your grown up are your best friends.”

“Books are as useful to a stupid person as a mirror is useful to a blind person AS LOVE IS ABHORRENT TO THE DISCONTENTS.”

“Education is the best friend.
An educated person is respected everywhere.
Education beats the beauty and the youth.”[cent

What about the modern day Chanakya, friendly? Could you please compare Narendra Moody with him?

Modern day Chanakya is going great guns, LookLook, and if there is a salvation from the damage done by the NG Dynasty, it will be from the new leadership which has set its mind on Indianness of India rather than the phenomenon of appeasement of all even though it has been at the expense of India herself.

There are numerous compromises that we have made which have diluted the impact of the Freedom Struggle, eroded the Indian ethos and encouraged dissent stifling voices that do not wish to devalue the sacrifices on the GENUINE FREEDOM FIGHTERS.

Welcome to my blog, my new friend - some of the values of Chanakya and his modern day follower are universally applicable. Gujarat is a good example.

Have a wonderful week ahead !!

The first resonates with me. Not sure if it is a matter of being too honest or too open but this is a life lesson we are having to teach my nieces as they go out into the word. A person does not have to lie but there are times when you should simply refrain from ,adding information or revealing more than necessary.

The lesson for the current times is inclusion of discretion and consideration - first is a precaution and, the second, a reflection of own integrity and honesty. I should think that combination with what Chanakya teaches should work with modern times, SpiritGirl.

What is your take on that ??

Have a great Sunday !!
