Decompressing Well, about 2am this morning, I was awakened by her cries of pain. She was itching like crazy and was starting to have bladder spasms again. So, while trying to wake up, I cleaned her up (She'd had a small bowel movement without being aware of it), applied some nystatin to the areas that were itching, got her some medication for the bladder spasms and some pain medicine for the pain, straightened up the bedding, cleaned up generally around her place, and then turned the lights out again. I couldn't get right back to sleep myself, so I did a little bit in the kitchen, and got me some water to drink and now I'm decompressing here at 3:30am before trying to get a bit more sleep myself. I sure hope I have an easy day at work, because I'm not going to have a lot of energy to throw into it. And so it continues. |
