SOCKS [AKA] HELL ????? Well I haven't,talked much about socks.That is my little mountain fiest,jack russel mixed. About three weeks ago,she went,got her self pregnant.This big ol bull dog,down the road, jumped the fence.Wam bam thank u mam. I knew,she couldnt have the pups.God I am hating to do it,but she had to go to the vet to get aborted. I took her to the vet to get the pups aborted.Well any other time her and the vet was buddies.Yea right!He found out real quick. I left her there.They was just playin around when I left.Well around 11.30 am,I called the vets to see what was going on.Well they told me to call back after 2.00pm.I asked how she was doing.They said ol great,shes such a good girl. I called back at 2.00pm.They said ric,u going to have to come get her.I asked them,well how did it go.They told me it didn,t go. I said what do u mean? They said,that everytime they reached in to get her she would snarl and come at them.Like she was going to bite them.I said ol no,not my little socks.I couldnt help it.I wanted to laugh. I said why didnt u mussel her?They said,that if I wanted to mussel her,I could but they wouldn't. Then I just couldn't hold it back.I laughed so hard.They said Rick,we even tried to sedate her with a treat.Well did the treat help?No she ate the treat ,and went back to the back of the cage. Well did that work?Why no.She still tried to bite them.I said is she sleep now?Naw not the hell ?????. I told them,well I will be there shortly.When I got there to get her,she was still in the back of the cage.I opened it and here she came runnin out like there was a fire on her \bass\b.Boy was she ever happy.The vet walked back there.Talk about p'd boy she was.She started walkin toward the door with a attitude.I looked down and I could see it in her eyes.She looked up at me and I laughed so hard,because she was tellin me,if I ever brought her back here,it wasnt going to be just the vet that was going to catch hell. Well when we got back to the house,I put her in her pen and she went right to her house.Slept all nite and part of the next mornin not comin out.I guess the pill worked. Well she dont know it yet,but shes got to go back Tuesday.I can imagine,what its going to be like, when I go in that front door.I think I better mussel her before,I ever put her in the truck to leave the house. So I have given her a new name of "HELLB????". ROFLMOBO! |

How old is she? Hope you are going to have her fixed? That Mommie, is fighting for her pups.

Well first of all I am going to mussel her.I dont want to give her a sedative before she does go.She would then really be out of it. I have got to have her spaded,and also they said that they would be taken her woumb out to get to the pups. I have to have her spaded because now she has the gene of the bulldog in her.So if I dont get her spaded then if she does have pups.The pups would still have the gene of a bulldog in them. I do have a chance to get one of her grand daughters though. So thats what I have to do.I have no choice and it does break my heart to have to do this.Its either I do this or it would kill her to have the pups. So I m going to have this operation instead of takin a chance of losin her. Thank U all for your concern.

How come she can't have pups? They say for every passing there follows a birth? Isn't that what they say? Aren't you the fella that lost his foal? Mary B.

Aquamarine she is such a small dog that if she has these pups it would probally kill her.She was bred by about a 70 lb bull dog.She weighs about 20 lbs.That is why we have to abort the pups.They would be so big that she couldnt have them. Yes I lost the foaL.It wasnt healthy enough to last one day. This is totally differant.If I can save her by doing this,then it will be done.So I guess I am savin a life while havin to take a life. Its sad but I love my dog.

I'm sorry, for both. Poor little girl,..are you sure, did you ask the VET? Isn't she a Jack Russel? Please have her spayed. I know you love yer pets I can se that. Mary B.

I just read this one after the 2nd one, had to go see this. Bless Socks' heart! It is sad but funny too. I do understand your reasoning for aborting the pups. Give her a hug for me! Ann
