Just thinking

It has been a few weeks that I have been living alone. After, 22 years, it does take some getting use to. One of the things that I notice the most is that I have more time to myself. I know that that is a bit obvious, but I mean time, in the sense that I can slow down and not be so rushed doing everything. I can take my time at the store. I can take my time coming home from work. No rush to fix breakfast or cook supper. But, I still have to remind myself that there is no need to hurry. Time is still difficult to manage. I work a lot of hours, six days a week. I had to cancel out of a trip to meet a new friend last weekend. The weather wasn't going to be that great, or so I told myself. I think that the real reason was that I worked late on Saturday and needed time to do stuff to get ready for this week. Time. Time. Time. There is no time to lose.
