What have I missed this time? Of course I have found a solution for certain blogs, I just don't read them, let alone comment. That policy has saved me a lot of problems.

It takes two sides to perpetuate this farce. The only conclusion one can come too is that you both get some sort of warped enjoyment from this bantering. Even if your not going to admit it there is something you guys should understand about the rest of us.... Being truthful doesn't make you right and being right doesn't make you truthful.

Excuse me Mr tommygunn... but how is this the opposite. It says the same thing, but maybe a little less harsh. I refuse to get into this with someone I really don't give a hoot about what they think. So take your narrowmind and hatred and go about your way. If I am hypocritical about what I said on the "other blog" it is that I am responding to you. "It's strange to me that this subject exists. By my thinking character assassination cannot happen. Character is a trait we have in accordance with our own being. It is not and should not be based on others perception of our character. Like a lot of similar things we base our own levels on what others hold us to. If we are a person of character it doesn't change by what others think it only changes by what we think. Our own actions and thoughts create our character not what others say or perceive. In many ways an attempt at character assassination is a test of character that most most of us fail. For it is the security in our own character that wins out in the end. I have found that those who choose to believe an untruth are just as bad as those that tell the untruth. For me, I will not waste my time trying to change someone's mind, whose mind is not worth changing."

Loth, What I am trying to say is that saying something truthful doesn't make saying it right. and vice versa. I believe it is not possible to be PROVEN right or truthful, the only proof rests in your own mind not in the mind of others. The idea that we have to prove it to others is the chink in the armor, that to really believe we need to make others believe to make it true.

Not getting involved, as I am generally clueless about the thrust of the beefs these days, but you could say I appreciate the way many here can present their argument and rebuttal. Some of the reply is very well crafted. If you can write this well mad, just think what you could write if you all got together - in the spirit of co-operation!

I cant believe that this utterly childish and stupid blog is still showing up on our pages. It would make one ashamed to be a member here, and to be glad that one has a full and exciting life away from this site. For Gods sake, will the writer of this blog remove it and stop making a show of himself. It is childish, completely insane, and verging on elderly dysfunction which can start in the early sixties and get progressively worse. I had no pc yesterday and came here today to view the blogs only to discover that this is still here. Is the owner of this blog looking for someone to say he is intelligent, always right, and is never, ever wrong. Well, I can tell him that that is never going to happen here, from past experience. Its a total joke and an insult to the members of this site.

I dont know who the Queen of The Brood is, and I dont know any member of The Brood. (what a name). Nobody threatened to remove me, and if they did I wouldnt care because I wouldnt dream of coming back. I dont know you Tommy, or anyone else here personally. I just had to say how immature and childish this type of behaviour is, and who are you or anyone else to say that someone should be removed for abuse. Try to live life in a more positive frame of mind, its good now with Spring on the way, and the good open fresh air.

I looked at my comment on your blog and there is nothing wrong with it. You can print it here if you like. I am an outsider on this forum (SFF) and thats the way I like to be. Calling a group "The Brood" seems very immature. I am just me, an Irishwoman who has no affiliation to anyone in particular, and have been a bit nasty once, to one person who is quite nasty to me no matter what I saw to the member in question. I do know how to stand up for myself, here and in real life, and I have many friends who like me. I also have people who may not.

Do what you wish Loth. I never called you on the phone, maybe once when Nina was coming to ?dublin and you asked me to support you as you didnt know her. I will come in here when I so wish, or stay away if that suits me. I have absolutely nothing against you except for your name calling of me which is all wrong. You called to my house so many times that I got fed up looking at your face peering in the window. Let it be, Im not interested in talking to you any more. This blog has gone off line and its a ridiculous blog anyway, one of your usual, attacking people who dont even know you, and if they did, they wouldnt want to have anything to do with you. I will blog if I like, 3 or 4 times a day, and Im not worried if they are read or not. You even stopped Maudie from ringing me. Anyway, its water under the bridge now as we will never meet again.

This is my last comment Loth. Do you remember the time I gave Maudie some of my ery expensive tablets to save her money. Do you remember the um,pteen cups of tea and biscuits (picture was included in SFF) that you got, very willingly in my house on all the times you called. Do you remember the time I arranged for a friend of mine to get your bike on the train, so that you would not have to cycle home. I met Maudie several times until she said she was disgusted with the people in SFF, that she couldnt stand them, and was leaving. I did meet her after that, probably once. Do you remember the times I undtroduced you to my grandchildren and my son in law, who took you to your destination in his car. Also, the reason I found you boring was that you spent the time you were in my company telling me things about members here that I didnt even know, and that I didnt want to know about, especially as most of them were negative. You can carry this on if you like. I showed it to my sister and she said I should leave this place, that I dont deserve to be insulted, and all because I objected to one of the most stupid blogs I have ever seen. My friend in Australia suffered at your hands but because she wasnt Irish she took it sitting down and didnt say much. You should be ashamed of yourself, a 60 year old man, acting like a 6 yr old because people dont comment on your blogs. Well, Im just glad the travelling blogs are over because I had to ignore them completely. Name calling will always be a part of SFF and you will always be at the centre of it. Im the one that cut ties with you. I think you must have been drunk when you think you were relating to the Irishmen that were burned in the Scottish barn, because as I remember that night you spent most of the time up at the bar. I dont drink and remember everything, I have a great memory.Laughing like a hyena is not a sin Actually people all laugh when I laugh, its well known in my family and they enjoy it. I have never once heard you laughing. Your red flag was in your head. Len never wanted you to call out when he was here, and he thought it was very impertinent of you to arrange a life down to Powerscourt for yourself and Maudie without being asked. Len was a kind gentle soul, but he knew who he liked and did not like. I can keep this going too if you so wish, but I feel I would be letting myself down if I wrote any more. Just keep it in your head that you are a vexation to my spirit.
