DATING ..IT'S HARDER NOW

Remember the good old days before computers , you'd meet in person at a social gathering , perhaps chat a bit , dance a few dances and if there was further interest you'd exchange to make a date .sometimes you never got the call , other times you went on date but found there wasn't anything there to build on , sometimes there was so much chemistry you even had \bsexo?\b togeather lol.

so now we have computers and we must spend weeks/months chatting before we dare give out our phone number , another few months talking on phone , after about a year of wasting both our times we meet to see if we have chemistry , GIMME A BREAK..

In the 'good old days'where ever you first made contact, you could see what you were getting. Now, after weeks chatting on our computers, then, if he is brave enough you can have another couple of weeks phoning, then the BIG DAY arrives, you go off to the designated 'public place', when he turns up, IF he turns up, he looks nothing like the photograpgh he posted on his profile!!! Talk about hit and miss. Apologies to all you genuine guys out there.

The good ole days?????? I hate to hear good ole days. My dear sister-girl we are here in today, and one must do as the romans did. 1. we know what we want, now all we have to do is go and get it. 2.TIME, we just don't have it. 3. roll of the dice is all we have, sooo close your eyes and throw the bones and hope you maybe lucky, love you sis Donnijoe

One thing hasn't changed... the back seat of my '59 Oldsmobile... (assuming that you'll make allowances for some new upholstery, in 1995).....

Times have changed and people are more dangerous. You have to be careful even in a crowd. The good old days are gone but never forgotten I just wish I could have those days back for a little while.

I thought the internet would be a much more organized way to meet someone but everyone lives so far away and there is just too much competition.

Now I think it would be so much easier to just meet someone in my own city at a grocery store or at a dance and hope for the best.
