Dear "You know who you are"

Dear "You know who you are"

A little poll in chatroom the other day encouraged me to write a letter (blog) to you.

To freshen your memory: DO YOU REMEMBER?

In 2004, we were on a friendly basis. When I planned a visit to your country, you kindly offered to drive me around in your area. I sent you money to book a rental car. For some reason the arrangement bounced, which was no problem and had no effect on my trip.

For 2 years now, you keep asserting that you are willing to pay back the amount of EUR 240.00 (which is about US$ 325), but you have been using all sorts of excuses these past months why it could not happen YET.

Apparently you were not able (or willing ?) to send back the money the way it got to you: (using Western Union). Therefore, I gave you my bank details at the beginning of March. Since then you have not answered my emails let alone sent the money. I might seem nosey, but I am really pondering about the reasons:

To shorten the procedure, simply click on the pretext that you’d like to use NOW:

- a continuous strike of all banks in your country made it impossible to make a transfer

- a serious attack of senior moments made you forget all about it

- a dog / a bird dropped its doo-doo on the only available printout that contained the dates you need and unfortunately you already deleted my emails.

- Your computer broke down and you couldn’t answer my urgent request ‒ oops, NO, THAT can’t be it…. I know that you read blogs, as I see that you grant us the pleasure of your wit and wisdom in here.

We DID have already the following lame excuses (so you can’t use them again):

-breakdown of car/ bicycle,

-loss of bag with money on your way to bank,

-bank cannot decipher numbers,…

Dear "you know who you are", believe it or not, I am getting annoyed, and I am afraid I may have to blow your cover of "everybody’s darling" in here pretty soon in order to warn other persons. I can prove everything since I kept all emails, including screenshots of mails via SFF.

Awaiting some reaction (preferably a EUR 240.00 transaction visible on my account.)

Your immediate attention to this matter is urgently requested.

Yours

zippygirl

P.S:..To all who are not meant to be reading this: Yes, zippygirl was pretty naïve and trusting.

Does she happen to live in Nigeria?

Sorry that she took advantage of your trusting nature. Hopefully this public denouncement will inspire her to make ammends.

GIRLS !!!! Thank you for your concern and advice both in here and in chatroom. Once more I can assure you that the person has nothing to do with any of the Florida bashes. Moreover: I never met the person in real life. So PULLEEEZEEE don't trade suspicions/rumors and bother poor people with emails asking if they owe me money P.S.: I am still NOT married.... LOL .. Poor Mikey getting nervous...

boirdman thanks again for encouraging me in chatroom - as I said several times: the person has never been on any meetings, and I have not met him/her personally.

My friend "Looney": IF the person settles the reinbursement there is no need to tell name. In case he/she has done it to somebody else as well they might know themselves what to do now. My blog was a message for that person PLUS a GENERAL warning to everybody NOT to be too trustful and naive (as I was). The fact that you exchange emails and talk a lot on IM with somebody does not guarantee that the person is honest.

Belle, yes a cyber wink did it. I was not searching, but I guess I had pretty comprehensive profiles on both SFF and FF. FF's Cupid did it...

Rocket, it is a lot of money indeed (as we say in Austria: an old woman has to knit a lot to earn the amount).

Sigh,....your choice to out yourself. I wish you'd kept it short and simple and sticked more to the truth. I am not lowering myself to your level and analyse each sentence that does NOT contain one single grain of truth (e.g. who approached whom). Be sure you were NOT the reason for my visit to Australia, maybe a nice extra gimmick. I met about 8 SFF chatters.
Anyway.... till May,1 half of it is ok, I expect the other half by mid of June (talking about 2007). And yes, it IS EUR 240 and not 220. I pass on 1/2 of fees for transfer and equivalent of interest for more than 2 years.

GAWD, YA TALK ABOUT WRITING A BOOK HERE..........PAY THE AMOUNT OWED......SCAMMER!!

Never in my 67 years have seen a person beat around the bush as bad as this, even my ex's!!!!

Well in a reply, and as this is zipps blog, will be short.
To you I wish good luck, as they say there is a sucker born everyday and for you to bee very careful.
Seems that the culprit or SFF deleted the long reply that seemed to cover every point of reason why the money was not paid back
People in need of love, will write letters to jailed cons, and eventually marry them,,sad..read sad to have to live like that.

Another post that will probably get several innocent people accused of being whomever the subject of this blog is. I would suggest that if you are going to talk the talk you should be prepared to walk the walk.

Gawd, if ya dont like why has happened in this blog..move on..k.
This culprit is known, and in chats this happens, people get to know each other, money is exchanged and then the let down on pay back.

Yes, there are others in here that have taken credit cards, money, its life.

Ya see it all when you have been in chats fer years..not a perfect world!!

Greyfox - I don't have time to read (let alone to comment) stories of fantasy and wishful thinking in here - I read my statements of bank account only as I want to donate this money to a needy child who is waiting for his eye surgery. This blog site shall be closed as soon as the money arrived. All I can see so far is sweeping attacks padded with lots of lies (or products of severe cases of senior moments)

Wow...This entire Blog was an "eye-opener" for me. I was curious ZippyGirl...how long ago this happened? Never mind, I see it's over two years ago when I reread that.

I was wondering who this was and see that his name was given up by others. Very unfortunate. People with good intentions...send what they can, when they can even if it's not the entire amt. That's when you know they care and are trying to make things "right." I will say no more....

Sometimes we are forced to do something that goes against our nature, but we get tired of people who are shallow or even liars and resort to whatever we can to solve the problem. I know exactly what you are talking about. I think this website, could be a natural breeding ground/place for the unscrupulous to frequent. Those with intentions to take advantage, expecially of widows/widowers. I am not referring to Greyfox, just people in general. Anyone who has experienced this should make it public knowledge to protect others. I know I would appreciate someone telling me to "beware"....most definitely!![/
