Time for My Summer Blog :) Hahaha, well I'm a week early but it's about time for me to blog again here.  Let's see what's been happening? Well I lost my little brother in late April to heart failure. Did get to the funeral thanks to the generosity of my and some of my brother's friends who got me first to Boston and then from Boston to Portland, Maine where the neighbor of my brother put me up in her house for 5 days. The school year ended before Memorial Day for the students and on May 31st for the teachers and staff. It was a fairly successful year and starting next year I will be tenured which is nice. We had a memorial service for my brother in Lincoln on June 2nd and we hosted a get together at the house for the guests from out of town who had come in special for the service. It was successful. My and I have a father- bonding/camping trip planned for Yellowstone and the Tetons right after July 4th. We went there in 2005 but didn't get to go last year so that should be fun. Right now the NCAA College World Series is going on here in the big O, so the past two nights I've gone down there to party and soak up some of the atmosphere. My friend Chris is a DJ there at one of the beer tents.

good morning Bruce nice to see you here again my friend Well me thinks we need to plan another Karaoke soon so we can hear you sing again How bout that Gordon Lightfoot tune I played for you last time I think you could nail that one to the wall Bruce!
